Friday
"Finally," Rams yawned as he unlocked the Arcade up. Yesterday had gone rather well as far as amount of customers. Especially for a week day, but tonite around four or five would be the second busiest time of the week for the Arcade. It was around 11:10 when Rams stepped into Crazy's Corner, he did his morning routine before he sat down in his office with a cup of Tea. Today being Pay day he wrote out a check for all Mercy's hard work the last two days, it wasn't much but it was a good chunk of money. "$160 for two days of work," he smiled, "not to bad." She had been a reliable employee, stupid but reliable. If she quit talking to the freaking animations she may just live threw the weekend. A coffee sat on the front desk getting cold as it awaited Mercy, noon ticked by, then one, where was she? "Being this late isn't like her," Rams said looking at the clock that read 1:04.

A coffee sat on the front desk getting cold as it awaited Mercy, noon ticked by, then one, where was she? "Being this late isn't like her," Rams said looking at the clock that read 1:04.
When Mercy finally came in, she looked awful. Dark rings were around her eyes and she didnt look well. "Sorry, again. I... Forgot to sleep..." She picked up her cup of coffee then took a sip before putting it down. "Anything I need to do? And I'm sorry again. I just could sleep, maybe I'm drinking too much coffee or something."
Rams looked at the girl and took away her coffee, "go home, your not in any condition to deal with customers... Or animations." Rams handed her the check for her first two days. "Come in tomorrow at 11am, it's a Saturday so I assume you can manage." He walked to the door and opened it nodding his head for her to go home and get some rest. She really did look awful, probably because of the damn animations haunting this place. Samuel was the only person they got along with, Rams thought about calling him in but shook it from his mind almost instantly. It wasn't worth dealing with HIM.
She frowned and shook her head. "No, no, really. I can work, sir. Its just nightmares and such. Its normal, really..." She tried to smile, only to shiver and looks around. "But thank you for the check sir..."
Closing the door behind her Rans pointed in the direction of Mercy's home and mouthed the word, "Go..." And he walked to the front counter and sat down. She needed to get her head straight or this job would kill her, literally.
She nodded, giving him a small wave and smile before heading to her home. She was having nightmares lately, about being chased around the arcade by a psycho. She normally didn't have nightmares, but they started when she first encountered an animation. 'Next time, I'm just going to ignore what ever comes next. Hopefully, they will stop when they realize they can't bother me. But that seems highly unlikely, of course.' She thought to herself. 'I wonder how Mr. Rams does it. And I wonder if those things are looking for me...'
Saturday
Saturday was the biggest day for the Arcade, so Rams came in around 10:30 usually to clean up. But after working alone Friday night he got there around 11:00 to see Mercy already at the front door, "glad your on time, sorry I didn't have time to grab tea or coffee this morning." He unlocked the front door, and the two of them stepped inside. "I want you to get a step ladder and dust the tips of the machines, that should take about 30-40 minutes, then sweep the joint." Rams looked at the empty mini fridge and candy rack. "And I'll restock our goodies, sound good?" He pulled a box of candy out of the back room and started to load the shelves, glancing over at Mercy everyonce in a while to make sure she wasn't being harassed by any Animations today.

"Sounds good, sir. I'll get right on it!" She smiled at him before heading to the back and comes back with the step ladder. She put her headphones in as she stepped in front of a game and starts dusting, turning her music on so she doesn't get detracted.
Morning chores went well and apart from seeing things every once in a while out of the corner of her eye Mercy was left alone by the animations. When noon hit a giant group of kids filtered into the store and almost every game was being played. This was the typical Saturday afternoon for the Crazy's Corner Arcade, "go play some games?" Rams told Mercy as he handed a kid two Mountain Dews and the change from the purchase. "Just remember the list, we have almost a hundred Arcade Games, I'm sure you can find one you'll like."
She smiled again and nodded, taking her coin. "Alright. I'll be careful, I've learned my lesson. Nothing will hear a peep from me." She started walking around, smiling as kids played their games and played with their friends. She hummed to herself, looking around at the games. She passed Black Beards game and Masterson's game with out even looking at them. 'What game shall I play? I could play PAC man, but I feel like playing something challenging... Defiantly not Masterson's game... "
Kings of Combat was a fighting game that was based around a short story and character lore. The story was that once upon a time there were three masters of combat Kenji, Rogue, and Sven... They were all friends and their descendants were friends until a gipsy woman told of a legend that whomever was the last decendant would obtain the gift of Immortality, so the grandchildren of the masters of marshal arts started a fighting tornement to become the last of the masters. The main Characters were Sonya and Skyler Sharp, son and daughter of the evil Henry Sharp, son of Sven. You chose your character based on your gender and fight your way up the ladder until you challenge the hook handed Fighter Henry Sharp, aka the Throat Slitter.
Mercy stopped at the Kings of Combat, looking it over. She tilted her head and thought to her self quietly, looking at the coin in her hand. She was temped, but she knew this was one of the games that she was warned about. After having a small fight with herself, she finally placed the coin in. "I'll play one round. That's it..."
A selection screen asked her gender, once chosen the game explained the controls:
A- Kick
B- Punch
Down A- Low Kick
Up A- Jump Kick
Down B- Fire Ball
Up B- Uppercut
Right- Move Foward
Left- Move Backward
It wasn't too advanced of a game but it was challenging. The first fighter apeared, looking to be some sort of shirtless ninja it's combat was quick but it's attacks were weak. Beating up on Mercy's fighter Sonya, the health bar nearly moved.

She smiled and kicked the ninja. She then punched it, and the ninja's health went down rather quickly. She then spamed B until he fell down and the words, Finish Him, flashed on the screen before sending a Fire Ball his way, making him into dust.
The next opponent was a larger heavier black gentalmen, "Sesco Burn" was his name, his Attack was ok, but he was slow. His defense on the other hand was his most powerful stat. He used his down B, to send a line of shadowy spikes breaking Sonya's stance and causing her to fall over 1/6 of her health gone instantly. This fight would be harder...
She hummed moving backwards before Uppercutting him during one of his attacks before Jump kicking him before doing another Fireball. She smiled, enjoying her time before spamming punch again. "Huh, this is fun. All I have to do is think ahead..."
Sesco brought down a heavy punch combo on her before using his shadow spikes again. Her health was a little above halfway gone, but he only had a few hits left before he was done. She landed a direct hit with a fireball and Sesco fell, then the next fighter, and the next one. Mercy beat nine fighters in about thirty minutes, and after the ninth fighter fell the game began to smoke a bit, not really smoke. More like it misted as the world around her faded away. This was the last level, blinking rapidly Mercy found herself wearing Sonya Sharp's outfit and standing in a large temple room with an ancient alter in the background, "welcome my daughter," the animation of Heney Sharp had trapped her in this day dream trans. "Are you ready to have your throat slit my daughter? You must pay for speaking out against me..."
Mercy smirked, not entirely in her right since as she looked at the Throat Slitter. "Bring it on, I'm not scared to face Death." She moved into Sonya's fighting position. 'This feels so real. At least the graphics improved.' She thought to her self in her hazy mind, a determined look on her face.
The Throat Slitter threw his hook over hand, a chain extended from his arm and it caught Mercy by the left arm. As he pulled back she was flung at him off balence and Sharp used his other hand to nail her in the face with a punch. Releasing the hook he did a quick kick combo to throw the girl back across the map. "Only a matter of time before I slit you throat, you discraceful daughter of mine!" Outside this Animation zone, no one really noticed Mercy whispering to herself as if speaking some sort of incantation. Her pupils were fully dilated and her hands were shaking. But the scariest part was the warm river of blood soaking the left shoulder of her shirt. But with all the noise and games about not even Rams could see that anything was wrong.
Mercy/Sonya grunted before getting up and back into position. 'T-That actually hurts... What's going on...?' She touched her shoulder before bringing her hand to her face, her eyes going wide at her blood soaked hand. "Your the disgrace..." She growled before sending a fireball his way then moves towards quickly and low kicks him before aiming a punch at him.
