On one knee after the low kick wounded him he swung his hook across catching Mercy's em and flipping her onto her back, HARD. As she struggled to stand her landed a quick kick, kick, uppercut combo throwing her to her back once more. "How am I a discrace? You could have let me at my own immortality, respect thy father and mother... But I killed your mother so I guess just respect me." Henry Sharp laughed completely unaware that the character of Henry Sharp was completely fictional and he was just a criminally insane spirit trapped within a video game. Mercy's health was at about 1/3, were as Sharp's health was at about 3/4... It was not looking good for Mercy, if she lost the Animation would actually FINISH HER!!!
Mercy struggled to get up, panting as she looked up at Sharp. She as slowly coming back but not enough to snap out of it. "M-Mr. Rams... What's going on..." She whispered to herself, her body forcing her to continue. "Mother did nothing to you! She wanted nothing of you!" Sonya's voice yelled at him before moving forward again and ties to jump kick him, only to be thrown away again. 'Make it stop...! Just stop it, please!'
Mercy's other shoulder began to bleed more as Henry caught her once more with his hook. He whipped the chain throwing her into mid air before pulling downward, slamming her helpless body into the ground and returning the hook to his arm. Back in reality Mercy wasn't being tossed around, she stood solid as a statue as her consciousness fought for control of her mind. Trying to retake her brain from the animations iron grip. 1/5 of her health left she didn't stand to much of a chance, her red health bar flashed as Sharp stood strong with green health.
She could barely move but her body manage again to pull her up but her shoulders hurt and bleed so badly, it brought tears into her eyes. She looked at Henry, her eyes blurring as her body moved into attack position. The pain was so much, she could barely think about her next move. "I'm not scared to face Death." Sonya's voice looped again. Because she took too long to attack, the game forced her and did a simple punch to the Throat Slitter.
The weak punch was nothing Sharp jumped back a bit, upon landing he brought his foot up to Mecry's chest nailing her with a powerful kick. The computer caused Mercy to roll backwards out of it but in reality a small drop of blood dripped from the right side of her mouth. The character began to wabble and this was familure. Mercy had seen this nine times before, but not to her character. The screen lit up and Sharp grinned, "FINISH HER!" Chuckling softly Sharp approached the girl, with pleasure..." The move was like an intricate dance, jumping, spinning red lightning pulsing off the chain... Then red. Her throat was open and blood was pouring out. A kid screamed and Mercy was tossed back into reality as she collapsed. Children moved out of the way as A puddle of thick red pushed away from her.
Mercy looked around frantically, trying to cover the wound on her throat as she tried to beg for help, only to speak in gurgles and blood flying out of her mouth. She pulled the white scarf off of her shirt and tried to apply pressure to it, but her hands were already numb. Her eyes and head turned to the left, towards the snack counter. Tears ran down her face down the side of her face and mixed with the blood when she saw Rams concered face coming to see the situation.
The police were called by multiple kids with cell phones, Rams rushed over, "who did this!? Did anyone see who..." He looked up at Kings of Combat. One of the five games he told her to stay away from, and she didn't listen. He was so angry and so sad, she lasted four damn days. "Mercy, please..." He said, trying to hold back tears. But what could he do, nothing. He needed this job, it had been his fathers before his father was killed by an Animation, then his friend, then his uncle commit suicide, now Mercy! "Move, get out of the way!" He tried to pick her up but the blood was too slippery, if he could get her outside maybe her spirit wouldn't be trapped in here, in the stupid Arcade! "Get out of the way I said!!!" The kids were frozen with fear as they watched the girl dying in front of them, but this made them like immovable statues blocking Rams way! "Don't die, not yet, not here!!!"
Mercy tried to stay awake, looking up at him pleadingly as the surrounding started to grow dark, her body growing colder and heaver, making her arms fall to her side and the white scarf fell off of her neck, now dark red. She heard the machine in front of her eject her coin, then heard it roll on the floor before she felt it touch her hand. She used all the energy she had left to clench it in her hand, her eyes slowly closing against her will, Rams desperate look hovering over her and being the last thing she saw before falling into darkness.
The Next Two Weeks
Police came and had everyone leave, they questioned Rams and he told them everything that they would believe. The Arcade was closed for two weeks but was reopened just over the two week anniversary of Mercy's death. Her spot opened up, as far as employment went. And Rams went to visit the girl's mother the day before the Arcade was to open. "I am so sorry, I didn't know your daughter too well yet but she was kind to me and worked hard in the four days I knew her. I'm so sorry for your loss..." It didn't help, the mother rejected him fully and cast him out of her house hold. The reopening came around on a Friday at Friday at 3:00, children rushed out of school and went to the Arcade. Rams was only pulled deeper and deeper into his emotionless pit. Picking up the phone he made a call he never wanted to make, "Samuel, yeah, Rams... Will you come work the front while I do a few interviews?"

"Welcome aboard lassy," distant haunting arcade music echoed in Mercy's mind. "You die in the Arcade, your part of the Arcade..."
The pirate man pulled her into a new form of consciousness. Rows and rows of games sat before her, "now you get your choice, lucky that you actually get to choose..." The pirate gestured to the rows of video game machines. "Choose your home before the Demon consumes your spirit.... Hurry!"

She looked around, confused as she looked over the games. She looked down, placing her hands on her body to feel if she was real. She looked the same as the day when she walked in the Arcade before she was killed. The only difference was that her white scarf was red now. "I-I don't understand! What's going on?! What demon?!" She yelled, backing away from the animation and looks around before bowing her head and holds it in her hands. "I-I can't talk to you! Mr. Ramsley said so!"
"I don't have time for this ya swashbuckler!" Thatch looked around frantically as if someone was watching. "The Demon is one one trapping our spirits in theses games, he's the one who becons is to kill!" The spirit began to vanish, "choose a game before it's too late girl!!!" And with that Black beard vanished. Most the games in this world were off... As they were already being haunted by an Animation. But as for the ones turned off, Mercy had to choose one to occupy or the Demon would get her.
Mercy looked around frantically for a open game, running around the arcade. She was terrified. She didn't see any open games and she knew something bad would happen to her any minute now. "S-Someone! Anyone! Please help me! I can't find a game! I beg of you, help me!"
Smoke slowly rolled through the Arcade, "ah," a deep voice creeked round the corner and the shadow of a figure apeared. "A new Animation for my amusement... Or are you a spirit for me to feast on?" The Deadfall game had a broken screen now and it looked as if that was where the Demon was coming from. "So you get to choose, feed my dark power and let your spirit rot in agony? Or entertain for an eternity??" It wasn't the greatest set of choices but one was definitely more appealing then the other. "So choose now or become mine... Girl...."
She moved away from him in fear. She trembled at his presence, making her look down so she wouldn't see him. "I-I will entertain you! But there aren't any free games, s-sir... I don't know where to go..." She wrapped her arms around her waist to try to control her trembling.
"Most the games are lit up," the Demon smiled, "you have ten seconds to choose one... I'm getting hungry!" There were fishing games, racing games, hunting games, fighting games, pin ball, luck based games, shooters, pac man, mega man, mortal Kombat, super hero games... Games of all sorts. "Nine, eight, seven..." All she had to do was choose an she wouldn't be consumed. Her game would be whatever she made it up to be but she had to choose NOW! "Five, four, three, two..."
She panicked, looking and running around quickly then stops in front of a luck based game called 'Midnight Horror' in the corner of the arcade by its self, looking like it hadn't been played in a while. The game was where you avoid a ghost in the 4 levels, a graveyard on the first level (which was the easiest), a old school for the second (a little harder, if you don't think) a church for the third (one of the hardest levels), and a haunted house (an extra level, where you encounter more than one ghost.) In each level, you had to find a page from a journal that belonged to the ghost that was hunting the player. If the player gains all three pages, they get the fourth level. The pages spawn randomly and so does the ghost. If the player gets caught, even once, the game starts over completely. The game was set in third person and all the character had was a flashlight. The 'girl in black' was the ghost's name, because no one could see her unless light reflected off of her red eyes. Mercy looked around her, fearfully before touching the controls on the game. She suddenly felt herself merge into the game and then was suddenly sitting in a chair in front of a mirror, her red eyes reflecting off of the mirror and sees kids running around behind her in the reflection. 'I must be in the title screen...'
Friday: Re-Opening
Kids began to flood the Arcade, playing their favorite games. The town didn't realize the effect the Arcade had on the community. Min the two weeks it was closed kids wandered the streets with nothing to do, so you can imagine how relieved parents and community leaders were in New Marshfeild were when the Arcade was re-opened. But Rams was not so chipper, his newest employee and friend had just died and Samuel hadn't bothered to show up... This was stupid, at the very least he'd have to do his interviews at the front counter to be able to watch the front while he decided on who to hire...

A small kid walked up to the counter. When he got in front of him, he turned his eyes up at Ramsley, glaring at him. "The game in the corner keeps spawning me to the title every time I get caught by the girl in black! Its broken! And every time, some annoying girl keeps coming up behind me and giggles in my ear then runs off before I know turn around! Make her stop! I can't play!" The brat stomped his feet and screamed, trying to draw in attention. "Now, now, now!"
Mercy was in her game, looking out into the crowd of people longingly as they walked past her game. Only 3 people played her game and with all three, she made it harder to play. No one made it over the second level. And each time, she went into the world of the living she messed with them, from giggling in their ear to pulling on their hair to even slapping their backs before disappearing quickly. Sence the game was in the corner, no one looked her way much.

"Why did you make that kid cry?" Samuel was standing next to Mercy's game. He had showed up late and wasn't in the mood to deal with this rush of customers yet. "You know Yo-yo has a lot to deal with, why stress him out even more...?" He had a hood over his head and blonde hair poking through at the top, "Sorry about your death by the way, Yo-yo had me cut the power to Kings of Combat for you... Sharp wont be bothering you or anyone else ever again." The man removed his hood, "The name is Samuel, and I know every animation here by name," he chuckled, "be nice to Icy ok, he's my personally buddy and he gets lonely." He took a sip from a water bottle, screwing the cap back on he returned it to his sweatshirt pocket and removed an apple from the other pocket. Basicly what Samuel was trying to say was that if she ever got violent as an Animation, he would have to cut her power cord, but this was half a bluff, he didnt have much way of knowing who killed who. But he also came to speak with her about her recent death, "So in other words no more hurting kids, and I'm sorry about your recent death... that is a real bummer sweet heart."
