Mercy frowned, appearing by his side. "I didn't mean too make him cry! He shouldn't even be playing my game, its too horrifying for people his age..." She crossed her arms, looking around the busy arcade, bored. "How is Mr. York doing? I don't believe he noticed that, while he was gone from the arcade, I kept it clean for him. Oh, and don't worry! You won't hear a pep from me, other than a few appearances here and there. But I'm not one of the crazies here..."

"I know you won't do anything, I really just came over here to see how you were coping?" Sam took a bite of the apple in his hand, "the demon is one cruel son of a..." A child near by had gotten a new high score and Samuel's swear was unnecessarily censored. "I also wanted to ask if you could look after Icy, I don't come by here as much as I'd like to since I go to college in the town over." He is in the Arctic Hunting game, I just want him to have a good friend like you." He laughed as he pointed to the game, "when the kids go home tonight I'd check him out..."

She smiled up at him, nodding. "Very well, I will look after your friend. And a little warning, who ever is hired next, I'll help who ever they are stay away as long as I can, sir." She gave him one last smile, disappearing before a kid looks their way.

Taking another bite of his apple Samuel closed his eyes and smiled, "try not to let the next one die alright Mercy..." And with that Samuel punched in and started to assist costumers and Rams with the arcade. Games ran normal and when the day came to a close Samuel stayed a bit late to help sweep up, "She's here you know, the horror game on the end next to the wall of pinball machines." Rams had stopped what he was doing and headed for the door, "She doesn't blame you little buddy." Samuel saw Rams give him the middle finger before heading out the door, as a key holder Samuel finished sweeping before locking up himself. "Good night Icy," the room was silent, "see you freaks tomorrow..." And with that the door closed for the night and the arcade was locked for the night.

When Sam told Rams that she was here, Mercy was shocked and sad that he left so suddenly. But she knew that this was the new chapter in her life, so she would have to live with it. When Sam left, Mercy came out of her game and floated to the counter and finishes what ever her boss started. After that, she started to dust the tops of the games and such, doing what she did when she was alive and working.

Out of the corner of Mercy's eye she may have noticed that one game was shaking, Arctic Hunter 3. The game was lit up and rumbling as if something was alive within it, all of a sudden a large polar bear jumped out of the screen and roared viciously at Mercy. The bear growled standing up on two legs slashing at the sky before falling back down to all fours and growling right in Mercy's face. Was the ghost going to attack, and even if he did, would that really mean anything? They were both dead after all.

Mercy looked at the bear in the eye. Unfazed. She looked behind him, saw his game, then looked back at him, smiling. "Hello there. My what a cute thing you are! I love bears! I think your Icy, right? Sam told me to help you and keep you company!" She smiled more reaching behind her and offers a chocolate bar, only to watch it fall from her hand and onto the floor. "I'm going to miss eating..."

The growling stopped as soon as Samuel's name was mentioned, the bear almost smiled before rolling onto it's back almost as a dog would do. This for Icy indicate that he wanted his stomach rubbed, yawning slightly the bear stared at Mercy upside down. Eyes looking deep into her soul begging, pleading for her to just rub his belly.

She giggled, crouching down and rubs the bears belly. "Aw! So cute! I wish I could play with you, but I need to work..." After rubbing his belly, she stood and smiling at him before turning away and starts organizing the candy in order. "Your very cute, you know. I hope we can be friends."

The bear moaned before vanishing into pixels, the rest of Mercy's night was relatively peaceful. That was before Thatch showed up, "Why do you clean the ship of the man who let you die little lady?" The looked over at the Kings of Combat Game, "At least he wont be bothering you anymore, right? After his game was shut down the demon consumed his spirit, it has all the animations on edge..." The pirate animation walked toward the girl as his game flicked in the background, "how about you harlot? Scared yet??"

Mercy looked up at the pirate, a little nervous before looking at her killer's game. "I didn't see why not. I'm just doing my job. And I feel a little bad, letting him get consumed by that thing, but it had to happen or he would have harmed someone else." She looked down, taking off her bright red scarf and places it on to the clean and ready counter. She wanted to show her boss that she wasn't crazy and still wanted to work for him, even though he couldn't get her soul out of here before she died.

Saturday

Rams got to work a bit late today to find Samuel was already letting people play, "Thanks for opening up." He looked at his watch, it was about 2:26, he was about three hours late for work. Samuel was pointing to something on the counter and Rams picked it up, "Where did you find this?" The manager said quite angry, "Where did you get Mercy's Scarf Samuel?" When his work associate didn't answer Rams walked into his office and slammed the door, tossing the scarf in the trash bin, he waited, hoping someone would come in requesting a job so that Rams could send Samuel packing, at least for the time being.

"Maybe I'll leave a note next time..." Mercy appeared next to Sam, bowing her head. "I'm sorry if you got yelled at. But! I did all of your work before you got here and I met a cute little bear too! Um, could you go and get my scarf? That's one of the only thing keeping me sane! That and my token and Mr, Ramsley. I'll do all of your work if you go get it!" She smiled, floating at his side, her scarf missing off of her animation body.

Samuel sighed, "fine, but that means dusting behind the games." Samuel walked towards the office and turned, "if you do it I wont have to move each and every system." She could simply slip behind the games and dust them without having to move each one forward and have the hassle of all that. Samuel knocked on the door and entered, "Sorry Rams, sick joke..." He took the scarf from the garbage, "Thought it might cheer you up." Samuel left the room and headed over to Mercy's game wrapping the scarf around the joystick. "I may just play your game later tonight," Samuel laughed before leaving to greet new guests.

She reached out of her screen, grabbing her scarf before waving at him. 'I'll start cleaning right when the doors are locked!' She thought to herself, getting onto the cover screen and sits, waiting for someone to play with. 'Maybe I'll visit my boss too...'
