"Just your grandmother?" The frog laughed. "How did your family live, in the woods with boars?"

"I am not from here and my grandmother is dead." Rose hissed. She looked down, wanting to just get up and walk away but she didn't move an inch.

The chameleon patten Rose on the hand. "I'm not from here either." Durigibold said.

Rose looked at the chameleon. "I know your not from here."

"Didn't you say you wouldn't pay him any head?" Durigibold said, pointing to the frog.

"Yeah, I know what I said but when he talks about my grandmother and family things get serious.." Rose said, glaring at the frog

The frog put on an innocent face. "He doesn't take that word seriously enough."

"Oh, okay. Why won't you say where your from?"

"You really want to know?"

"Yes, I do." Rose said plainly

"My village burned down."

"Oh, I am sorry." Rose said quietly

"Don't be."

"Why? Your town burned down, that is a bad thing to happen.."

"And? It's not like I'm looking for sympathy or anything."

"Oh okay. I should get going soon.." Rose trailed off.

"It's rude to leave a meal without finishing your plate." Durigibold said, motioning to the half eaten plate of food.

Rose looked at her plate and sighed. "Fine. " She said as she finished her food.

"Big brother!" A little girl called, while tugging on to Durigibold's robe. "Big brother!"
"What is it?" Durigibbold asked.
"Who is she?"

Rose looked at the little girl and smiled then looked at Durigibbold.
