The Grey nodded. I will alert someone before you leave."The Grey said. "May I ask why you are carrying Tycros Vestus eggs?"The Grey asked when he noticed Hotaru carrying the eggs. The Grey sighed when he noticed Hotaru's confused look. "The K'zayl and Z'kayl tribes refer to them as Frothos."The Grey added.

Reggie walked aboard the ship with his jaw practically on the ground. "I can't believe I'm on one of these!"He said in awe. "It is a rather remarkable vessel."Sarkaras said. She certainly didn't seem as enthusiastic as Reggie was.

"It's because I hate seeing creatures go to waste," Hotaru responded. "We already killed their mother, and I'm trying to nurse them to birth until they are ready to be in the wild."

"Well, once hatched the infants are capable of caring for themselves. Instincts and what not. I would certainly not advise keeping them on your ship. When hatched its more likely that they will try to eat you than anything else."The Grey said.

"I suppose I'll have to hatch them quickly," Hotaru said, breathing a bit more fire on the eggs.

"We have incubation chambers that we could use here if you need to go now."The Grey said.

"Well... You promise not to hurt them, right?" Hotaru requested.

"We have no reason to, so I can assure you they will be safe."The Grey said.

"Very well," Hotaru said before giving the eggs to the Grey. "Please keep your promise."

The Grey nodded. "I will."He said.

Meanwhile, Latch was getting his eye repaired. He wasn't without concern. "Are you sure you know what you are doing?" Latch asked. "Our people use some pretty sophisticated technology."

"Yes I do. I'm not only a member of the most advanced race in the galaxy, but I'm also a technician. As such, I am expected to be familiar with all forms of technology. Even the tech used by extinct, or near extinct, races. I believe I may even be able to make some improvements."The grey technician said. In the room with the two, a young K'zayl was also there. Unlike the other K'zayl, she was wearing modern, rather expensive at that, clothing. It was clear she was worried. "S-So, what are we gonna do since the Zaryk is real?"She asked. "Relax, Cyren got a few people to help, this man included."The Grey said.

"What are you, some kind of all knowing gods?" Latch asked. "Surely there are things you don't know or cannot do."

"Oh, there are. Even with our advanced technology, we are still incapable of traveling through stars, going anywhere near black holes. there are also a number of other cosmic events our technology cannot, and moe than likely will not, surpass. And we are incapable of using Magic, unlike most other races. To date we still don't know why."The Grey said, as he worked on Latch's eye

"Well there's a saying that kind of goes like this," Latch started. "You're either technologically advanced or you are magically advanced. My species can't use magic either, but we're very skilled with technology ourselves."

"Oh I am aware of that. Our observational Tech is based off of yours after all."The grey said. "And I'm sure your kind are physically capable of performing magic, you just haven't advanced that field."The Grey said.

"What!? You have all of our technology!?" Latch cried. "No one gave you permission to steal our technology!"

Oop: I don't remember, are Latch's species extinct? Or were there enough able to escaspe before the planet was destroyed?

OOC: Latch's species is still relatively numerous. They managed to escape before the planet was destroyed.

"We consider it more along the lines of borrowing."The Grey said. "Are you finished with the repairs?"Sarkaras asked entering the room. She stopped when she saw the other K'zayl. The other K'zayl looked up at Sarkaras and frowned. "I didn't know you were part of the crew on this ship....."She said awkwardly. "What is she doing here?"Sarkaras asked the Grey. "She's my assistant. And I would suggets any animosity you two share be saved until after Subject 5840 is dealt with."The Grey said. Sarkaras glared at the K'zayl before leaving. "Uh.... Kyrik, would it be okay if I returned to my village until your return?"The K'zayl asked. "No, I need you here."The Grey replied, not looking away from Latch's eye.

"Ha! "I'm just borrowing it." That's something people say to themselves when they want to think they're in the right," Latch said. It looked like his eye was almost done, but Latch might still have a bone to pick with the Grey.
