The Grey got up, heading to the Hatch, grabbing Latch's hand and managing to drag him aboard. A loud deep roar echoed through the forest, clearly belonging to Fenrir. "Alright, Gira, close the hatch!"The Grey ordered. "Of course." Responded a feminine voice as the hatch closed.

"Right... I'm on the ship. Gravity is normal," Latch said. "So... what do we do now? I got this big ugly demon based on a creature everyone either loves to demonize or the opposite, and now he plans on wiping my whole entire species out, and I STILL don't know if I want to help a race of creatures who are out to do pretty much the same thing. I know what you said about having the price of our stolen technology raised so that we have a better chance at selling our real stuff, but I don't know if that's enough for me. ...Hmmm... I don't know if I want to get into it."

"I wouldn't exactly say my kind are out to wipe out other races as much as we unintentionally do. And again, if you truly are wanting things to change for your people you will have to help."The Grey said. "And currently, we are going to track down your friends, before Subject 5840 returns and shoots us out of the sky."The Grey added as they took off.

"Yes, I'm sure they will all be happy to see me," Latch said. "I especially expect that panda to be absurdly giddy at my sight. He wants me dead you know, did I mention that?"

"Why's he out to kill you?"The Grey asked. "And in hindsight, having one, relatively stoppable person out to kill you is much better than your odds against Subject 5840." The Grey said.

"Because... because he knows who I am," Latch said. "Remember when I said that many of my kind had to resort to thievery to get by? ...Or did I tell the other Grey that. But the truth is... I have to live that exact same life to get by. Hotaru knows I'm a thief, and knows I'm a wanted criminal, which is why he joined up with Reggie was to hunt me down."

"Killing over theft? That's highly overreactive...."The Grey said. "I mean, I know most races imprison thieves, but killing? That's just unnecessary. Particularly if you have to steal to survive."The Grey said. "It's like accusing a predator of murder after killing its prey so it can eat."The Grey said, shaking his head.

"Perhaps he may be in it for the money," Latch said. "There's a pretty big bounty on my head, but the person who issued it wants me dead. The only thing stopping Hotaru from killing me is... is that I am friends with one of his friends."

"And I assume you're human friend as well. Doesn't seem like the kind of sentient life form to allow killing for theft."The grey said. As the Grey's ship flew over the forest, Reggie's ship came into view.


Oop: I need to name this guy

"...I have a human friend?" Latch thought to himself. Truth was, he didn't consider Reggie or anyone on Reggie's ship to actually be friends. He just thought of them as allies. "Yeah, his name was Icias. I promised to help him after his planet blew up. ...But he refused to get along with a big ogre chick on board and he just... he just vanished cause he couldn't deal with her. Now I have to deal with Hotaru who I have no where near the same connection with. ...Did I mention they're both Bearons?"

"Well, not one of them. You forget, I met the other."The Grey said. "Bearons are an interesting species. They're almost identical to the Earth creatures known as Ursidae."Teh Grey said.

"Yes, I've heard about these Earth creatures," Latch said. "They say we look like Squirrels on that planet."

"I can see the resemblence."The Grey said as they approached Reggie's ship.

"Huh, wonder what's up with the other ship?"Reggie asked, noticing one of the monitors in his ship showed te Grey's ship.

Oop: I really need to name the guy with Latch

"They even say we derived from common Earthen squirrels, but our species has been around for 500-million years," Latch said. Note: Latch and his species ran off a different calender, as their years were rather short compared to Earthen year.

"500 million galactic standard years?"The Grey asked.

"Ummmm... no, five-million of our own years," Latch responded.

"Well depending on how long you're years are compared to the rest of the galaxy's it's possible that you're kind developed from the Earth species. Or through genetic modification it could be the other way around"The Grey said.

"I... Siuradei live up to about 256 years on our planet, but... There was a study on another planet where a Siuradei died at the age of 67 through natural causes," Latch said. "Maybe we just had shorter years on our planet."

The grey shrugged. "It is possible."He said.

"So... are we docking soon?" Latch asked.
