"So, what happened to the planet?"Mor'ypp asked the tall being. "Cryoss? That degenerate iceball of scum and filth? Gone."The being responded. "If i'm right, the people in charge are writing it off as a meteor strike. Again."The being said. "So you just destroyed it then?"Mor'ypp asked. "Yes."The being replied. "Still don't get why you keep blowing up the planets. We could use some planets for bases y'know."Mor'ypp replied. "If the planet was destroyed than it wasn't worth keeping."The being responded. "I grow tired of waiting." Sarkaras groaned, about to get up and attack the Mor'ypp.

"Oh, what I do for a living?" Latch asked. "Actually, I'm... an archeologist. I travel the world looking for rare artifacts, and I generally try to study them. I also try to sell some of my artifacts for money. Heck, before I came to your ship, I found this weird blue glass container with purple sludge in it. I... I'm not sure what it is, but it is kind of cool."

Latch showed the artifact he *ahem* "found before" he came to the ship. It was actually an old Earthen device called a Lava Lamp. It was purely a decorative piece, so it's value is iffy.

"Oh that's cool, it looks almost magical..." Icias took it and was studying it with his eyes before tapping the glass gently with his claw. "Looks cool, hey what if we started our own thing!" Icias would much rather partner with Latch then Reggie, "we split a small star speeder, and fly around the Galaxy collecting your magical artifacts and you study them and we sell them for gas and food once you have obtained all the knoledge you need from them!!!" Icias continued to rant on and on for a bit longer as the monitor showed some shocking footage, a woman screamed at the two headed waitress to turn it up! Icias and the rest of the diner turned their attention to the giant monitor, all the smaller screens switched from star races and colosseum fight to the news.

'You are watching live,' a Brittish sounding man said in the background of the footage. 'Let's watch a replay of the catastrophic event taking place at the edge of our own system.' The footage was rewound and played back as the planet of Cyross was torn apart by what looked like small comets. 'The Zoth System will never be the same, what your watching is the planet Cyross being ripped away by what can only be explained by small powerful meteors of some sort.' The monitor switched to a live view of the ashy remains of the planet, holes going threw it and the bottom half of the planet had broken off completely. 'From what we can tell, there is no possible way anyone could have survived this storm.' The reporter went onto say how this was the fourth "Planet Destroying" storm in the last year. But all Icias could hear was ringing in his ears.

People with families on Cyross began sobbing loudly, this was the closest storm to them that had happened this far. Icias started at the monitor with his jaw nearly on the table, his brother... His brothers pregnant wife... His friends... His home, gone... If Latch was speaking, the Bearon could not hear. Cyross wasn't the home of his species, but it was home to his family. For the last 102 years he had lived on Cyross, all that work building his brothers business, gone. All those memories, wiped out of space by... A storm? This was too strong to be a storm, it had to be something else. Fate wouldn't do this, he was on Cyross two freaking days ago!!! He should be DEAD right now!!!!!

"... Grislock..."

Latch started to clutch his mechanical eye, seemingly in pain. But it wasn't pain of being injured, it was pain through sadness. You could tell in his good eye that there were tears. Latch was taking napkins from a dispenser like no tomorrow and surrounding his mechanical eye with them, which suggested part of his eye still existed there: including his tear ducts.

"The meteor storm..." Latch started. "Our people... our planet was destroyed that way too. Our people were smart enough to get away before the destruction... but your people weren't so lucky. If it wasn't for the Orbital Oculus, our people would have died too. I... really do share your pain." Latch... actually seemed sincere about what he said. Latch was a thief, but he wasn't evil. He had pain and suffering like anyone else.

As for the Orbital Oculus, as his mechanical eye could tell you, Suiridei were skilled at crafting implements that allowed them to see more clearly, through walls, and even through great distances. The Orbital Oculus was a giant telescope that allowed the Suiridei to see light years away, which is how they were able to predict the destruction of their planet. But in the process, the Orbital Oculus was lost.

Oop: Sorry it took me so long to respond here DX I really didn't what to post. Cause with Icias having found out about the destruction of Cryoss differently than I had planned, my whole idea of what was going to happen in my next few posts got thrown off DX

"Sarkaras! Wait!"Reggie said, though his warning fell on deaf ears. Sarkaras got up and walked over to a pillar. She punched into it, with the pillar having weakened with its age, and pulled out a thin metal beam. "Mor'Ypp!"Sarkaras shouted, having already drawn Mor'Ypp and the Being's attention with her not so stealthy approach. "I am here to slay you and take back my honor."She declared, before charging, metal beam outstretched to pierce Mor'Ypp. "Is that the K'zayle that escaped your ship?"The being asked. Mor'Ypp nodded. "Yeah. Gimme a second and I'll load up my plasma pis- what're you doing?"Mor'Ypp asked as the being stepped forward. "Dealing with this pest."The being said. Once Sarkaras reached the two, the being swung his fist, sending Sarkaras flying back.

The being let out a deep snarl as it removed its cloak. The being greatly resembled a bi-pedal wolf, though it had on some ancient armor or clothing. Sarkaras groaned and sat up, having been thrown into the pillar she got her 'sword' from. When she looked up at the being her eyes widened. By now Reggie had gotten out of his cover as well, having activated his shield and sword projections. "Y-You're-You're th-the-the"Sarkaras muttered, very clearly terrified. "You're stuttering in fear, coming from a K'zayl that can't be a good thing."Reggie muttered. "Okay Wolfman, just give us the goat and we'll go away and let you do you're weird broody cloak thing."Reggie said. "Wolfman? What's a... Wolfman?"Mor'Ypp asked. "Human thing goat boy."Reggie said. "Human hm? I haven't been to Earth in centuries. How has your civilization advanced human?"The being asked. "Like I said pal, we're just here for him."Reggie replied. "H-He's the Zyrack"Sarkaras said. "The wha?"Reggie responded. "The Zaryck, a Great beast with the power to destroy worlds. You humans actually knew me by name. Fenrir."The being said."Fenrir? Uh, sorry buddy, not ringing any bells."Reggie said. Suddenly he remembered hearing the name Fenrir from somewhere.

Back on Earth, Reggie had an interest in not just Vikings, but Norse Mythology. He never read much, but he'd read about a monster named Fenrir. A big wolf that was apparently very powerful, got tied to a rock, and chewed a god's hand off. Atleast, thats all Reggie could remember. "Oh yeah! I think I remember you now!"Reggie said. "Somebody made a game with you in it a long time ago! I don't think anybody plays it anymore, but-"Reggie said before being cut off by a snarl. "I don't care about you games, Human."Fenrir growled. "So, what're we doing with 'em boss?"Mor'Ypp asked. "Nothing. Let them tell their governments whose really responsible for the destruction of those planets."Fenrir said. "Wait, if we do that than you'll get every ne out to get you. Bounty hunters, Other Space Pirates, those Space Viking guys, Armies!"Mor'Ypp said. "I have the power to destroy planets with my bare claws. Why should I fear some pitiful army, or ragtag group of criminals?"Fenrir asked. "Well, personally I don't want every trained soldier and armed thug hunting me down just to get to you."Mor'Ypp said, readying his plasma pistol. "So this mean we don't get to drag your butt over to the police?"Reggie asked as Mor'Ypp fired, with the blasts bouncing off his shield. "Sarkaras, you deal with Mor'Ypp, leave Fluffles to me."Reggie said. "A human, attacking me?!"Fenrir said in mock fear. "Mor'Ypp, don't waste any more ammo. Let's go."Fenrir said. Reggie didn't really wait to charge Mor'Ypp, bashing the alien with his shield, and knocking him down. Reggie continued his charge heading to Fenrir.

Sarkaras gulped, getting up. She was certainly very weary of Fenrir, but considering Reggie was 'dealing' with him, Sarkaras turned her attention to Mor'Ypp. "A-As I was saying, I'm here to reclaim the Honor you stole from me, Alien."Sarkaras said, pointing the 'sword' at Mor'Ypp. "What is it with aliens and honor?! Seriously?!"Mor'Ypp questioned. Sarkaras prepaired to make ehr first blow, before Reggie was slammed into her, knocking the two into the pillar Sarkaras hit earlier. "Mor'Ypp, get behind me. I'm going to make sure these two learn not to pester higher beings."Fenrir said. Mor'Ypp did as instructed. Fenrir held his hand up and it seemed as though Gravity for Reggie and Sarkaras suddenly changed, and they 'fell' to the wall behind the pillar. Their Gravity changed once more and they 'fell' to the cieling, before being slammed into the ground. Fenrir threw the two around a few more times before deciding he was satisfied and going back to his ship with Mor'Ypp, and taking off. "Well, that wasn't pleasant."Reggie grumbled, rubbing his head. "Maybe humans aren't as squishy as I thought."He added. Sarkaras got up, nearly falling back over due to being in a dazed state. "Let's get outta here and find Icias."Reggie said.

Soon a few aliens wandered into the restaurant Latch and Icias were in. The aliens were clearly drunk and stumbled about. "Hey! Latch!"One of the aliens, who seemingly had a squid for a head, shouted upon noticing the Siuridie. "How ya *hic* been buddy?"The alien asked walking up to Latch.

"Huh? Oh, hello Nuzzie," Latch said to the squid. "Have any traps you'd like to announce shortly after people notice them? Har har har..." Latch then looked over at Icias and smiled. "That's just a joke I like to tell Nuzzie," he stated before looking back at the squidman. "Anyway, I just *found* this ancient artifact somewhere and I was going to go cash it in before I saw Icias behind me. He seemed kind of sad, so I decided to cheer him up with lunch. ...The giant pig chewed a hole through my wallet in the process."

Icias pulled himself from the booth and stood up, he began to walk towards the bathroom when he found that it was locked. Turning around he exited the diner leaving Latch and the bill there. Stumbling out into the world the Polar Bearon was filled with anger and sadness, "gone, it's all gone." And with that he wandered off into the vast city before him.

"Icias, wait," Latch called out. Latch got out of his seat, leaving Nuzzie at the table. Latch eventually followed Icias to his location to see if there was anything he could do to help. "Don't cry Icias," Latch said. "You don't have to feel like you're alone. That's no way to go through life. If you want, I can help you."

Icias roared loudly as he spun around, "how can you help me, I leave home for two days to make a little money have have a bit of fun and my partner replaces me, my home is blown up, and my only sibling is kill along with his fiancé and unborn child!" Icias was fuming, he just wanted to fly something, get in it and soar, it was the only place he could think of to feel comfortable right now, sitting in the cock pit of some space cruiser. "You can't bring them back to life, you can't save the two million people who lived on that ice ball of a planet and you can't get Reggie to take me back and get rid of that rude spiteful woman...." Tears filled Icias eyes again and he collapsed onto his rear, Icias wasn't meaning to push Latch away. He did really like Latch as a friend, but right now was the single most troubling time he had ever experienced.

Nuzzie followed the two, stumbling about. "Wonder *hic* what his problem is"Nuzzie whispered to Latch. Nuzzie wasn't normal very sensetive, but when he was drunk he was even worse. "Tell ya waht, Big Fuzzy guy! I'll tell you where the guy who *hic* did that thing is right now if ya gimme money to buy a drink."Nuzzie said. It was well known that the gang he was in worked for Fenrir, and he certainly wasn't very loyal, especially when drunk.

"Well..." Latch was silent. He had nothing to say of the situation. There was nothing in his life he could compare Icias' suffering to. Latch, at his heart, had very little worries. His planet was destroyed, but his people still live. Icias wasn't as lucky, which in turn made Latch even more sad. And then Nuzzie came along and asked for a bribe for details. That's when Latch had an idea.

"I'm not paying for your poor drinking habits Nuzzie," Latch said. "You're going to wind up dead on the street one day. I'll tell you what, why don't I give you this instead?" Latch held out the lava lamp he stole from Reggie's ship and presented it to Nuzzie, hoping he'd take an interest in it.

Nuzzie eyed the Lava lamp with curiosity. He took it and inspected it. "Deal. *Hic, you remember Fenri right? Well eh's go'n around blowing planets up for kicks. I think he *hic* said he's go'n to that one planet Tyrose. If yer *hic* friend there wants to find him, that's where to go."Nuzzie said, before popping the top off the Lavalamp, and managing to bust the top of the glass bulb. He then held it up to his beak and drank the contents of the Lava lamp. "Hm.. Spicy."He said before walking off.

"...He didn't even know if the contents of that lamp were edible," Latch said, shaking his head in worry. "I hope he doesn't get sick off of that. But in any case, I hope that info helped you, Icias. At the same time, maybe I should help you as well." There was just one problem. "...Except I have a space ship, but it's meant for one Siuradei or similar sized creature. There's no way it could fit you inside. I don't have the cash to spend on a new ship either. You kind of ran me up with all that food you ordered."

Icias was inspired, his friend had given away his magical water bottle and whatever mystic juice was inside to get him his info. "I'll buy us a ship on my credit!" Icias lead Latch over to a Nova Flier dealership. "I need fast, and I need guns," Icias said as he walked into the place, he was met almost instantly by an alien who's body was nothing more then a bunch of floating eye balls, the creature used telepathy to greet the two and begin to show them some possible ship options...

Soon Icias was contacted by Reggie. "Icias, where are you?"Reggie asked. "About to drop Sarkaras off."Reggie said.

Between being shown new ships and used ones, Icias knew he wouldn't have enough credits for a brand new brig, or even a new star speeder or something small. He would have to get a used ship if he wanted to get one, they had some pretty good ships used, but they seemed kinda slow, and or low on weaponry. So when Reggie called Icias was not only surprised, but also a bit relieved. "Your dropping her off? You mean you didn't replaced me??"

"No I wasn't. Where'd you get that idea?"Reggie asked before shaking his head. "What ever, Uh... Ithink I've got some bad news. Not sure if it's true or not though."Reggie said with a sigh. "While Sarkaras and I were hunting down Mor'Ypp, some other guy showed up. His name was Fenrir. He said something about destroying Cryoss. I dunno. I don't believe him. The tech to do that is only operable by Grey's, and he was definitely not a Grey."Reggie said. "But, he was in human mythology as a big wolf that bit off a God's hand. Sarkaras also freaked out about him. I don't remember what she called him. But I don't think he's just some nut job. He kicked our asses without even having to touch us. Sarkaras is still upset about the run in we had."Reggie said. "I know you probably don't know anything, but by chance did you run into any gangsters or something that mentioned Fenrir?"Reggie asked.

Icias was quiet and just stared at the projection of Reggie for a while, "it's true, it is all over Galactic News..." Icias bit his lip before responding to the sudo-Vikings next question. "I didn't see any gangsters, no," he said, "but my new friend Latch was talking to some drunk guy, I wasn't much listening to their little talk, but he didn't look like a gangster to me." The Bearon held up a claw to the floating eye ball salesman and headed outside. "Anyway, if your going to replace me again for the next strong woman who comes around I may as well buy my own ship with Latch and leave our stupid arrangement..." Icias has succeeded in fighting off the tears and was now focused again on the matters at hand.

Reggie was silent fr a few moments."Dude, I'm not replacing you. And I won't cause yo're going to help me hunt this asshole down and put him behind bars."Reggie said.

"Fine," he said, "but we leave the heavy weight behind." It was his only request, oh that and they take Latch with them. "And we bring the little guy, he would totally fit in the armory and be more then comfortable!" Icias grinned, they could all split the loot, 30% for Latch, 30% for Reggie, and 40% for himself! Seemed like a fair distribution seeing as how he was the mechanic and the pilot. But he would wait to bring that up later, "if you agree to my terms I'm sending my location... If not don't bother coming, Latch and I can find this planet breaker on our own."
