It was dark, black giant clouds were covering the sky and rain was dripping over the roofs and villagers of the town. Seeing it was getting late, Sam walked into a tavern. The Twili-Girl sat at the bar and ordered a drink. She looked around herself and saw people fighting, drinking, singing, dancing and falling drunk to the ground. Sam smiled under her black hood and started drinking.
Alkilai sat at a table in the back of the tavern, relaxing after a hard day's work. He had just returned from a hunt, a demon hunt as a matter of fact, the fourth one this week, well above his average. As Alkilai sipped at his Sweet Water he couldn't help but ponder, recently Demon's have been popping up like weeds, powerful ones at that, it used to be that he could go for days without getting that sickening feeling in the pit of his stomach that told him that a Demon or other evil creature was near; what had changed?
Just then, he felt that very feeling as a new face entered the tavern, at least he assumed it was new, as it was hidden under a hood. Alkilai watched as the traveler sat at the bar and requested a drink, he let out a sigh, he really didn't feel like another hunt, but he couldn't just ignore his feeling, as much as he wish he could. He stood up from his seat and walked over to the bar, siting a few chairs away from the hooded visitor, ordering another drink and keeping a steady eye on her.

Sam silently removed her hood, the men stopping drinking and starring, a little bit terrified of her tattoos and look. ''It's not like there werent weird people in this world!'' She said, smashing her fist to the table and going back to her drink. ''hate it when people do that..'' The Twili-Girl muttered, drinking.
Sam putted some gold coins on the table and bought a room for 3-5 nights. She quietly walked into the room, not wanting to use her powers infront of everyone and seem even weirder. The Twili Girl closed the door, hanging her coat on the wall and sitting on the bed. ''Soul, you can turn human now.'' She said, looking at a little flying reaper that was getting out of her coat's pocket and turned to a human form. ''There's so much heat in that pocket! It's good i am already dead i cant die of hotness in it..'' Soul said, sitting on the floor.

'A Twili... what the hell's a Twili doing here?' Alkilai thought to himself, instantly on high alert. It was incredibly rare for a Twili to wander outside of the Twilight Realm, but whenever they did they always caused a lot of trouble. However, something was off about this particular Twili, he had only ever met one other of the species, and this new one gave off a completely different vibe, almost... normal. The other one might as well have been a full fledged Demon, but this Hooded Twili, she just seemed like a normal person, well, as normal as a Twili can get.
Despite his doubts, he couldn't just let her go, he stood up and requested a room as well, taking the key and following the Hooded Twili up the steps. He hid behind a corner and saw her enter a room, already she was acting strange, no normal Twili would just walk around in broad daylight, let alone spend the night in some musty tavern. At this point Alkilai was fairly certain that this girl wasn't a threat, he was about to just drop it when he felt a sudden surge of dark energy coming from the Twili's room. 'This feeling, this power... it's... a Reaper?' Alkilai deduced. A Twili was one thing, but a Reaper as well, and one that was able to conceal its power enough to slip right passed him, just what the heck was going on here. Alkilai decided it was worth looking into and so listened in on whatever conversation the two beings were having.

''Soul, stop complaining, atleast we got a room for a couple gold coins.'' Sam said, making a hand move as all the light in the room disapeared, leaving the room into total darkness. ''Did you only get one bed?'' Soul asked, curious. ''No but the owner was suspicious because i was ''Alone'' and was ordering 2 beds.'' She answered, sighing. ''I kind of miss the Twilight.. everybody we know are there.. no other Twilis come out.. except Midna sometimes.. well..'' Sam said, creating some shadowed-figures of the people she missed. ''Hey, dont be sad, i'm here. It's not like you were alone or anything.'' Soul replied, looking at the shadowed figures and seeing Sam smile at the shadows.
''I guess i should just go to sleep..'' The Twili Girl said, laying on her bed and quickly falling asleep. ''Same here.'' Soul said, going on his own bed and falling asleep too.

'My god, that was... pointless.' Alkilai deadpanned in his head. No matter how he looked at it the Twili and the Reaper were just tourists, travelers just passing through, powerful and strange creatures, but for the most part non-hostile. Alkilai sighed.
"Well that was a waste of time." He lamented, walking down the hall to find a vacant room. As he did, an ominous shadow followed him on the ground, the air became colder and a strange moaning, so faint it was practically inaudible, filled the hallway. As it crept closer to Alkilai, it began to rise out of the floor, taking the shape of a shadowy figure with what seemed to be a tattered worn out black cloak. It had the hood up so if it had a face no one could see it, except for its red eyes if one looked hard enough. It had long boney fingers that ended at sharp claws and it seemed to be made out of a black smoke for the most part, some it radiating off of the creature. It inched closer and closer to the man as he stopped to open the room, raising its claws over its head to strike, but just as it brought it down, Alkilai effortlessly caught it by the wrist.
"Nice try, but there's no way something like you is going to sneak passed me." Alkilai stated, looking at the creature over his shoulder. The creature let out a shrill cry as it brought its other hand down upon him, but Alkilai ducked under the swipe and quickly opened the door before kicking it inside. The assailant hit the far wall, letting a small cry, before regaining its composure. "A Wraith huh, geez, is this place some sort of Mecca for rare hellish creatures?" Alkilai said sarcastically before readjusting his gauntlets for battle. The Wraith didn't waste any time, letting out a shriek before propelling itself towards Alkilai, who lowered into a fighting stance and blocked its first strike.

Hearing the fighting sounds, Sam woke up and shaked Soul. ''Soul.. Soul.. wake up! I heard some fighting sounds, we should go take a look!'' She muttered, as he woke up. ''No need to shake me.. i cant even sleep.. let's go..'' He replied, stooding up and transforming to his little reaper form. The Twili Girl just turned herself into a shadow and passed through the door, seeing the Wraith in Alkilai's room.
Alkilai and the Wraith traded blows, sparks flew as the Wraith's claws clashed with Alkilai's metal gauntlets. Alkilai ducked under a horizontal slash and when he came back up he leaped up and landed a kick to the side of the Wraith's face, causing it to stagger. Before it could react, Alkilai coated his arm with a strange whitish blue energy and landed a powerful punch to the Wraith's torso, sending it flying out of the room and into the hallway. The punch caused a lot of damage to the Wraith, it was noticeably in pain before shaking it off and brandishing its claws again.
Just then, Alkilai noticed the Twili and what he guessed was the Reaper standing outside their room in the hallway. 'I swear these guys better not gang up on me.' He said in his head, shifting his stance, expecting the worst.

Sam turned to her normal form, knowing he saw her. ''I know you might think we'll attack you but.. we wont.. were just trying to see what aa Wraith is doing here.'' She said, ripping off the Wraith head and looking at it with disgust. ''Stupid creature..'' The Twili Girl said, throwing the head to the ground.
Alkilai was silent for a moment, more than a little surprised by the sudden death of his adversary. He looked over at the discarded head, it rolled on the ground before conveniently stopping in a way that allowed it to stare at him. Alkilai stared back as it let out one last gurgling noise before the last of its existence faded away, evaporating into shadowy vapor, as did its body, which was still reaching out towards him. He then turned his attention to the other two.
"Nice shot, its a good thing you got the jump on him, it would've been really annoying to fight that thing head on." He complained, walking up to the two creatures. "Listen, I appreciate the help, but I'm a little curious, what are... "people" like you doing in a place like this?" He inquired.

Sam frowned, a little bit insulted. ''Were here to explore the world.'' She answered, crossing her arms. ''How do you know we are 2?'' The Twili girl asked, Soul turning to his human form and crossing his arm too. ''Are you a spy from another Twili-Hating club that wants to kill Twilis like Sam for no reason?'' Soul asked, frowning. ''If you want to kill her, you'll have to kill me first! And learn that it's hard to kill the son of death!'' He said, going infront of Sam, ready to defend her. The girl grabbed his arm and pushed him back next to her. ''Soul! Calm down! If he wanted to kill me, he would have already tried and would already be laying dead on the floor. You know that.'' Sam answered to Soul, wanting to calm him.
''I'm Sam, Sam Jackson. And the paranoid reaper behind me is Soul. What's your name?'' The Twili Girl asked, politely.

Alkilai was somewhat annoyed by their threats and underestimation of his abilities, but he let it slide for the moment, not wanting to start a fight.
"The name's Alkilai, sorry for the third degree, but I've been a little on edge lately." He apologized. "It seems like everywhere I go there's some sort of evil thing wreaking havoc, Demons especially. Like it or not, most Twili's are evil, at least all the ones that have appeared in this world in the last few centuries, so when I find one just walking around, with a Reaper no less, in a town that just this morning had a serious Hellhound problem, you can't blame me for being a little suspicious can you?" He defended with his arms crossed.

''That's still not a reason fo-.. mmphmmphmmmmph..'' Tried to say Soul, as Sam covered his mouth with her hand. ''It's okay. But understand that now there are still evil Twilis but some are healed by the Sols. You shouldnt really fear any Twili that has blue tattoos.'' Said The Girl, bowing in forgiveness.
"Never said I was afraid, but I'll keep that in mind nonetheless." Alkilai replied, relaxing his posture a bit. "Anyway, sorry for the trouble, its been a long day so I'm just gonna turn in, later." he said before turning back to his room for the night. Once he made it the door way, he suddenly stopped.
"Oh, and just for the record... I've killed both of your kinds before." He informed, giving a seriously look over his shoulder. "So give me a good reason, and you're as good as dead." The threat lingered heavily in the air, Alkilai was dead serious, or at least for the most part, but a few moments later he let out a playful smirk. "But, I'm sure that won't be a problem, you two seem like good people, so keep your noses clean and you'll never hear from me again. Well, goodnight." he finally said as he entered his room and closed the door behind him.

"Sounds like youre scared to m-.." Tried to say Soul, his mouth still covered by Sam's hand. "See ya." She answered, heading back.
Alkilai walked over to a desk beside the bed and began unhooking his gauntlets, he got one off and started working on the other when he suddenly let out a exasperated sigh.
"Man this is gonna suck." He said out loud.
"My thoughts exactly." Said another voice from behind him. Alkilai turned around to see the figure that stood near the window, clad in regal looking armor and matching sword. The figure was male with dark brown hair and a nearly flawless face, but his most stunning feature was his beautiful white wings that grew from his back. "Though not quite as uncouth."
"What do you want Michael, got board with looking down on humanity from your ivory tower?" Alkilai asked sarcastically, turning his back to the Archangel as he took off his remaining gauntlet.
"As much as I love exchanging witty banter with you, I'm afraid I don't have the time." Michael replied in a tone that was for the most part serious.
"Look, if this is about the Twili and the Reaper..." Alkilai began.
"Of course it isn't about them, they are not a threat as far as Heaven is concerned." Michael almost angrily interrupted.
"...Ok, so what is the problem?"
"There's been a lot of strange activity in Hell recently, I'm sure you've noticed by now, how Demons seem to just be flooding out Hell all of a sudden." Michael began.
"...Yeah actually, I have noticed that," Alkilai replied. "So... you know what's causing it?"
"We have an idea, we're not entirely sure, and we in fact gravely hope that we are wrong but..." Alkilai already had a bad feeling from his tone and sudden pause. "We believe it may be... Jigoku."

Sam was already asleep in her room while Soul, not able in any ways to sleep, heard the name Jigoku. ''No.. it.. it.. cant be..'' The Reaper-Boy muttered, stooding up and shaking Sam to wake her up. ''Sam! Sam! Wake Up!'' Soul said, seeing her eyes barely open. ''ugh.. okay.. what's the matter?'' She asked, wipping her eyes. ''Get in your shadow form!'' He said, hurried. ''For what?'' The Twili asked, scratching the back of her head and yawning. ''No time to explain!'' Soul replied, grabbing her hand and opening the door into Alkilai's room. ''Soul, why you disturbing this dud-..'' Sam tried to say, seeing the archangel. ''I heard the name Jigoku. We can help fight him if you want us to.'' Soul said, totally serious. ''Bruh!? You countin' me? I don't even know the Jigoku dude!'' She said, curious about who he was.
"Begone filth, this is of no concern of yours." Michael spat at the two uninvited guests.
"Hey, take it easy Michael, these guys are cool, you said it yourself they aren't a threat." Alkilai said, trying to resolve the situation.
"That doesn't mean you should trust them." Michael insisted. "Twili's and Reapers are unpredictable wild cards with no true ties to Heaven or Hell, we have benefited from their help in the past, but we have also suffered from their scorn, and we cannot take that chance."
"And who's we exactly?" Alkilai asked. "Last time I checked your we only included you and the rest of the Angels, no room for me in there."
"You're arguing semantics boy."
"My point is you're already crying for help to one guy you can't stand, what's two more?" Alkilai stated, if anything just to get under the Archangel's skin.
"Grrr... I really don't have time to argue right now, if you wish to enlist these creatures for help, so be it, just don't say I didn't warn you." Michael reluctantly said.
"See, now that wasn't so hard, was it?" He teased with a smug look on his face.

Sam gave a confused look to Soul. "Michael? Is it right?" She said, trying to get the good name. "Listen up, buddy. We dont even believe in that. The golden gods and goddesses are here for us. I'm one of the descendent of the royal Twili family and the Royal Family has been healed by the Sols. So stop getting so suspicious about us. If you need Our help we'll help, but If you act just like those humans that judge only by the look of something, we'll be happy to fight you too." She answered, growling and showing her pointy teeth to the archangel.
