Uriel nodded in acknowledgement. "I must take my leave now, rest well tonight Nephew, Princess, for even with Blessed Blade or Sacred Sword in hand... a Plague Dragon is no laughing matter." He warned before extending his wings and flying up into a portal of light that appeared above him. Alkilai sighed in exasperation.
"It just had to be a Plague Dragon." He complained. "Come on, let's see if there's an inn around here that's still open." He said, leading the group out of the palace and back into town.

Sam and Soul nodded, following him in silence. ''The Archangels know everything about Twilis, dont they?'' She questionned, her machetes disapearing.
"Yep, Twili's were human once too, they're pretty much mortals on probation." Alkilai replied. "So yeah they watch over you, but in the same way they watch over Demons, to make sure that you're not a threat to the Mortal Realm. Apparently things have gotten a little better after Midna took over and destroyed the Mirror of Twilight, but the Archangels still have their hands placed firmly on the trigger, in case anything goes wrong."
Sam nodded. ''Midna was Twilight Princess too.. well.. that was years ago..'' She said, continuing to walk.
"Yeah, I've been meaning to ask you about that." Alkilai began. "I know Twili are Mortals, but what exactly is the life span of a Twili, like is Midna still... alive, and what exactly is your relation with her, are you like her daughter, sister, what?" he asked.
''Midna is dead.. since.. 50 years.. maybe?'' She said, stroking her chin in deep thought. ''She's my grand-grand mother.''
"Great grandmother huh, yeah that sounds about right." Alkilai said. He let the matter drop once they finally reached an Inn. It seemed to be deserted just like the rest of the town, but he knew that it probably wasn't. He firmly knocked on the door. "Hey, anyone in here?" He called to whoever may be inside. Moments later a small latch opened on the door, revealing a set of bloodshot eyes.
"W-who are you, what do you want?" a male voice asked nervously.
"Uh, we're here to rent a room for the night, two actually." Alkilai informed the obviously hysterical man.
"Well, w-we're closed, indefinitely... so just go away!" He demanded, shutting the latch on them. Alkilai sighed.
"Guess we're camping out tonight."

Sam sighed. ''I will create my self a shadowy bed..'' She said, making a hand move as a shadowy bed appeared. The Twili threw herself on it and fell asleep. ''I do not own the capability to sleep.'' said Soul, crossing his arms.
"Lucky you." Alkilai said, reaching into his rucksack and pulling out a tarp for him to sleep on. "Then at least you won't have to sleep on the cold hard ground." He took a few steps away from Sam's bed and laid out the tarp on the ground. He unstrapped his Gauntlets and placed them in his rucksack and then sat down on his tarp.
"Hey Soul, something I've been wondering." Alkilai began. "Why are you even helping us, I mean you were the one so eager to join this quest, last time I checked Reapers were supposed to be one of the most Neutral creatures in existence, what do you care if Jigoku escapes Hell?" he inquired with genuine curiosity.

"As i told you earlier.. Sam and me are long time friends.. If her world gets destroyed.. She will be in an immortal depression that would probably last even after her death.. And i hate to see her like that." He answered, sighing.
"I see, so that's how it is huh." Alkilai replied. "So how does Daddy Death feel about you going rogue to hang around her, I doubt he was too happy about that." He stated. This really fascinated him, Reapers were the agents, and sometimes even the children of, death itself, and that was a full time job, the only way a Reaper would have such a close relationship with a mortal of any kind would be if he went rogue, and as for any tight knit organization, that usually doesn't go over well.
"Let's no talk about his reaction.." Said Soul, shivering just at the idea of Death's reaction and letting out a little scared laugh. "He doesnt like My idea at all.." The reaper said, looking over to Sam that was already asleep. "I feel.. More human.. Then reaper, sometimes.." Soul said, sighing.
"...Human, huh?" Alkilai said barely above a whisper as he gazed as his now bare hand. He curled his fingers into a fist and it became engulfed with Holy Light, causing a scowl to appear on Alkilai's face before softening into a look of depression. "...You really are... a lucky bastard, you know that Soul. I would give anything... to feel human again." He let out a long and stood up from his tarp. "It's still early, I'm gonna go do some training, you keep watch, make sure nobody gets a hold of that Triforce." Alkilai said, walking away from their little makeshift campsite.
Sam wasnt really asleep.. she heard everything but did nothing and just fell asleep. ''I will, count on me, Alkilai.'' Soul replied, summoning his scythe and getting on guard.
Before Alkilai got to sleep, Soul wanted to ask him something. ''I feel like you're mad at me, are you?'' The reaper said, confused.

Alkilai was about to lay down to sleep when Soul asked his question, somewhat surprising him. "Mad, are you, not really... I'm not mad, it's more like I'm... frustrated, and not exactly are you either." He answered, somewhat reluctantly. "...You've probably noticed by now, how I'm not exactly a pure bred human, I'm what they call a Nephilim, a hybrid between a human and an angel." He admitted, lying down on his tarp and looking at the stars.
"My mother's an Archangel, Nobell, daughter of Elohim. One day she come down to Earth and seduced a kindhearted and devout blacksmith, I was born the very next day. She presented me to my father and the head of the Clergy, saying that I would one day become a great servant of Elohim and guide humanity to salvation, and then she just... left, never saw her again. I was raised by my father, but because all the schooling is done through the Church, the Clergy was always looming over me, grooming me into the Saint I was "destined" to be. I had no idea I was different, I thought I was just a normal kid with a big heart, but then, my Dad finally stood up to the Clergy and let it slip who I was, what I was... I haven't felt human since. That's why what you said bugged me so much, a Reaper without a of mortal blood in him actually went against his nature and broke ties with his faction, I actually really admire you for that... I just wish I could do the same."
There was a long silence, he found it strange that he was opening up all of a sudden, perhaps he was just tired or felt the Reaper could understand, whatever it was, it was out there now. Alkilai sat back up. "Sorry for life story, guess I got a little carried away."

''Dont worry, nobody can change what they are. You can change comportments like me but.. cant do anything about my real self. Anyways, good night.'' The reaper answered, looking out for anything with his scythe. ''Excuse me, gentlemens, may i sleep, now?'' Sam asked, irritated, wipping her eyes and looking around to get back to sleep. ''Sorry, miss, good night now, princess.'' Soul replied, sarcasticly, smirking as the Twili got back to sleep.
Alkilai laid his head down on the tarp and fell asleep, it had been a long time since he had actually talked to somebody about his past, and he found himself sleeping a lot more easily that night.
The next morning, Alkilai woke up at the crack of dawn, the sun shining down on his face and the faint sound of a rooster's call being heard in the distance. He looked over to the shadow bed and saw Sam still sound asleep, then he looked over to Soul's post, the Reaper was wide awake, having in fact not slept the entire night. Alkilai let out a yawn.
"Morning Soul." He greeted as he reached for his rucksack and pulled out a sweet bun which he began to eat. "Anything happen while we slept?"

''Morning, Alkilai. I did not see anything dangerous.. just animals like sheeps and pigs running. Is Sam awake?'' Soul replied, turning to them and wipping his eyes. As he said that, Sam woke up, grumpy look on her face. ''Yes i am..'' She said, grumpy and sleepy tone in her voice. She stood up, stretching her arms, making the shadow disapear and getting her coat. ''Let's go fight a dragon.. woohoo..''
"Well aren't you just a ray of sunshine." Alkilai said sarcastically as he strapped on his Gauntlets. "Though I admit, I'm not exactly looking forward to rumbling with a Plague Dragon myself, especially since it has one of the Triforce pieces... hey, do you know if those things can work for Dragons?" He inquired to Sam, assuming she would be knowledgeable on such matters.
''What things?'' Sam asked, still morning-grumpy. ''I have to say, Alkilai is right.. you're really grumpy when you wake up..'' Soul admitted, putting his hand on his mouth to retain a laugh. ''And is that new? No.. you know me for years and know it's not new.. why is it so funny?'' The Twili asked, irritated, annoyed, grumpy and getting kind of mad.
