''I guess something scared them off...'' As he moved a hand over the wall, revealing a box of books. ''Theres even instruction manuals here, for matience.''

Genet picked up one of the manuals and flipped through the pages.
"This be shows the bluprints for hourglass itself"

''I bet they were going to fix it before it got abandoned.''

"Yet it's still running, what was broken?"

Dark scans over the room carefully, then snirks. ''Broken gear. See it?''

Genet looked at the gear then at the prints.
"Look that's the one"

''Yep. It's broken in half.''

"Well one, where's the other half, and two what's it for? I can't figure and thing out from this bluprints exept shapes"

''Its connected to that huge gear that goes to the wall at the hourglass,.''

But what does it do? Turn it, set the time, hang there for no reason?"

''It looks like it could turn the whole hourglass if it wasn't broken.''

"It's got to get fixed then, soon"

''Otherwise that hourglass is gonna be stuck at where it currrently is, too.''

"That would be bad wouldn't it?"

''Yes, because time might cease!''

"Ok, you find the missing peice I'll prepare a scroll of repairing"

Dark began to look around for the missing peice, scanning over boxes and holes in the wall. The gears turned loudly as an hour passed, a chime like church bells sounding loudly to the ears played. A tiny gear turns a bit, turning the table slightly, and turning the hourglass in response to a sideways position.

Genet worked hurriedly, a repairing scrol was meant to be quick, by scroll standards that is. She quickly tore the scroll from her bag and laid it out, this time in a star shaped pattern, one of the points just before the broken gear. She placed various metals at each corner, they would be used to create perminant the repair and fill any gaps. She used a vial of scentless blood and poured it in the center in the same star shape as the scroll?

Dark continues searching until he dislodges the missing peice from the ceiling. It goes rolling down to Genet.

Genet grabbed the wheat peice as it got to her.
"Help me get this back up"
