It was a bright, cloud free morning, the sun glistened on the Long island sound. Not far from the sound was a small valley that was home to a summer camp. However, this wasn't an ordinary camp, not in the least. The main feature of the camp was a large blue house. At the house a short, scruffy looking man sat at a table with a man in a wheelchair, the two were playing pinochle. As he put down a good hand, the short man grumbled "Just think Chiron, soon all those brats will be here and ruin our peaceful fun. Nothing bad ever happens until they show up." he sighed. The man in the wheelchair chuckled. Oh Mr. D, do try to be civil when they get here," he said with a smile. "After all, we do have a special camper coming this year. Your half sister." Chiron reminded him. Mr. D just sighed and downed a cup of coffee. Not far away, the camps year rounders were waking up.
The young boy runs through the forest as the cry of a hell hound sounds behind him. He had heard of a camp for sspecial people and decided to investigate. That was a week ago now a pack of hell hounds where hot on his tail when he saw the tree. With a last burst of effort he runs up the hill and trips past the tree rolling hard to the bottom of the hill on the other side.
Backpack on back, Samus arrived infront of the2 main gates of the camp. ''Dad.. where did you sent me..'' She thinked, amazed by the main gate's architecture. There were ancient greek markings on the doors, Sam could read them but didnt bother to make drama about the name ''Camp Half-Blood''.
The girl walked in, quietly, looking at the trees and stuff that was around. ''This place seems.. cool.. i guess.'' She said to herself, still looking around.

The boy rolls down the hill past Sam and comes to a stop at the bottom then sighs with relief "finally safe oww bruised a rib" he sits up and looks around.
All the cabins had woke up and sleepily made their way to breakfast. That is, all except for the consoler of the Apollo cabin. Instead of joining his siblings, Alex stayed outside to get some archery practice. The young man nearly dropped his bow when something caught his eye, there was someone at the camp entrance. The teen sprinted over to her and grinned. "You must be a newbie. Like, I'd better go get Chiron." he said as he flashed another smile. The teen was on his way to get the activities director when he saw someone lying on the ground, they looked kinda beat up. "You ok, dude?" he asked the boy.
Sam starred at him with a confused look on her face. ''Uh, why did my father, Zeus, sent me here?'' She asked, confused, trying to help Kris up.
Hi I'm..oww...Kris..Kris blue...is this camp half blood? I've been searching for a week...and I don't know if we can ooutrun those hell hounds...do you have a weapon? We can fight them (he says as he goes into a crouch ready to fight them if they came over the hill)
''I think were at camp half-blood. I dont know why my dad sent me here. What's this place for? He just told me to come and pack my stuff..'' The girl answered, confused, scratching the back of her head. ''I dont think hellhounds will come here. Isnt there a sort of magic barrier or something?''
Alex waved a hand at the boy. "There's a barrier, dude. They can't get in." he assured him. He then stared at the girl in disbelief. "Did you just say Zeus was your dad? Di immortals, this isn't good."
OH THANK ZEUS!(he flops on the ground and sighs) yeah it's a place for sspecial people. We are special apparently...so who's your dad? I don't know either of my parents...my mom left and my dad died...I hope this will be fun...
''Uh, yeah. Zeus' my dad.. why is it so bad?'' She asked, with her usual (for when she was a kid..) little girl voice. ''Did my dad do something wrong or anything?''
Lucky your dad's god of Olympus...Hey kid where can I sign up I'm NOT ggoing back out there!
Samus facepalmed. ''You call him kid when he's obviously older then you?'' She said, still facepalming.
Alex's calm demeanor stiffened, his ADHD was pushing him to act, but he wasn't sure what step to take first. "Uhh, ok...both of you need to come with me," he told the girl. "but first I gotta help with his injury" He turned to Kris and placed a hand over his bruised rib. Alex's eyes glowed bright white and gold light came from his hand as he sang in ancient Greek. Moments later, the bruise on the boy's side was gone. "There. Now lets get you to Chiron and Mr. D." he said as he pointed to the big house. "C'mon, lets go."
Wow how in Hades did you do that!? (He says as he gets up)
Sam facepalmed again and sighed. ''Who are those guys? Mr. D and Mr. Chiron sound like weird names.'' She said, following Alex, backpack on back. Samus then realised. ''Oh wait.. i am mocking weird names when i have a weird name.. well.. that's stupid.'' The girl muttered, walking.
The Lightning Girl's backpack was full of stuff like:
Bandages, a picture of her mom, her case with her violin, more bandages, a golden watch with a lightning-bolt sign, clothes, clothes and clothes.. Oh yeah! Plus, Samus bringed her bass to play when she was alone! Her mother really didnt want her to miss any stuff.

Alex grinned and laughed at the amazed look on Kris' face. "My dad's Apollo. Y'know, god of the sun, music, healing, all that stuff." he explained. He then turned to the girl. "Mr. D is the camp director and Chiron is the activities director. They're both cool but don't piss Mr. D. off. For starters, don't throw around the names of the gods like normal words, especially our friend WAY down stairs." he advised as they walked. "Speaking of names, I'm Alex. What're your names?" he asked as they approached the porch of the big house. When they got to the pinochle table, Alex bowed respectfully. "One undetermined and one um....well, I'll let her tell you." he mumbled before turning to Kris. "C'mon kid, you must be hungry." he offered.
Samus followed him, starting to play with her leather bracelets nervously. She was nervous.. obviously.. she was going to meet the leader of this camp.. ''My name's Samus Grace. People call me Sam for short.'' The girl answered, smiling and putting her bass in her backpack, a hudge part of the bass going out of the backpack. She enterred, sitting infront of Mr. Dude, like she started to call him.
Alex just stood there as Mr. D. turned toward Sam, he looked her over and sighed. "If what I've been told is correct, we are half siblings." he grumbled. "Don't expect me to give you special treatment." he added as he took a drink of his diet coke. Beside him, Chiron shook his head. "Don't mind him child, even after thousands of years Mr. D. hasn't warmed to the idea of siblings." he mused with a chuckle.
Samus continued playing with her bracelets, still nervous. ''Well.. i never had sibblings, guess it wont change.'' She said, dropping her shoulders. ''Can you please tell me why my dad sent me here?''
