Willow took a bite out of her food, looking around the place. She then pickpocked Sam for the map and opens it on the table for her. She studied it shortly before looking up, smiling sheepishly and nervously. "New Jersey... We are going to the garden state to see a monster in a maze..."
Samus began to eat fastly. ''Whatch do chu meanch? Werech headingch for the minochaur?'' She asked, the mouth full of food. The young girl gulped at looked at her friends. ''We need, thread, i say, alot of thread.'' She proposed, referring to Theseus' myth.
Alex laughed and nodded. "Totally sounds like the big bull. The maze is long gone though, so no string needed." he said before taking another bite of pizza. After he finished his slice, he left to pay for their meal. When he returned, he bagged up the rest of his pizza along with the last few slices of John's. "Duuude, come on! I was eating that. Didn't even get to try the box." John complained. Alex gave him a sympathetic smile. "Sorry bro, we gotta jet. Jersey's kinda far." he explained. John merely huffed and stamped his 'foot'. "Stupid bull...ground beef...fat cow." he grumbled under his breath. It was clear the minotaur had made an enemy by getting between a satyr and his food. After saying goodbye to Vito, the group loaded into Alex's car and headed to their destination. As they drove, Alex turned to his friend's. "Careful dudes, messing with this overgrown burger isn't gonna be easy." he warned.
Willow laughed at Johns behavior as she stood up, rolling up the map and handed it to Sam as they went to the car. "But remember, Sunshine, it is the garden state. I'd imagine that 'someone', some god or dimigod, would have made a maze and enchanted it to keep the bull in. And maybe 'charged' some mortals and demigods to go inside because it might be a tourist attraction of some kind. I mean, where would the brainless thing go?" She picked up a bottle and handed it to John, giving him a small smile as they all walk to the car. When they get in the car, she opened another book and flipped a page to a picture of the Minotaur. "Should we use brute force or should we try to trick him? The thing is big, fast, and ruthless. If we stab it in the heart, then its a win but the question is how..."
Samus burped, finishing eating the whole pizza. She stood up and spoke. ''Whoops.. sorry..'' She said, sitting in the car. ''Why cant we do both? Trickery and a violent shot, just like you said.'' The young girl proposed, looking at the picture of the bull. She then took her pocketwatch out and watched it. ''I will count time while were heading for New Jersey.'' She proposed.
Alex and John burst into laughter when Sam burped. "Good one Sparky!" Alex cheered with a grin. John wore a matching grin. "That was groovy, two thumbs waaay up!" he bleated as he held up his thumbs. As the demigods made their way to the garden state, Alex listened to the groups ideas on facing the minotaur. "We could totally use both, that'd be awesome." he told the girls as they sped down the highway. In the seat next to Alex, John wasn't so keen on the idea. "How about we like finish our pizza's, get to Jersey, buy a fake bull's horn, and go the hell home?" he suggested, though he still wanted to get even with the overgrown slab of beef.
Willow laughed at John's idea. "I think the gods are smarter than that, goatboy! But monsters are attracted to us, so maybe we need a little bait." She says quietly as she looked towards Sam. "And who better then the daughter of the the god on the main throne."
When Willow said that, Samus snapped out of her time-focusing. ''Hmm? What? Did i miss something?'' She asked, confused. The young girl shook her head. ''Wait, what did you just say?'' She asked, to Willow, a confused frown on her face.
Alex drummed his fingers on the steering wheel as he thought about Willow's idea. "Dude, that's awesome!" He said as he shot her a bright grin in the rearview mirror. John shot him a concerned look from the passenger seat. The two then started to have a silent conversation with their mental link: 'Dude this is crazy! There's like no way it could work. She's had barely any training!!!' The satyr panicked. Alex shrugged. 'Relax bro. We just need a way to get it to us. We'll totally have her back. Besides, she's HIS so she can handle it.' John merely shook his head. "Alright man, We'll find it together." He said as he patted John on the shoulder. Moments later, they crossed the state line into Jersey.
Willow just smiled innocently at Sam, tilting her head at her. "How fast can you run?" She asks her before looking outside. "I prefer New York then this place..."
''Uh.. fast i guess.. but less fast then Hermes and his kids.'' She said, sticking her toungue out and putting her pocketwatch back in her pocket. The young girl then looked at Alex and John with a suspicious look. ''Did you two just have a telekinesis conversation?'' She asked.
Alex shrugged. "Yeah, something like that. Empathy link." He said as he went back to drumming the steering wheel and started humming along with the old rock song on the radio. Next to him, John gave Sam a curious look. How in Hades could she have known he and Alex had been talking. After a minute, he shrugged it off. Alex shot a grin in the rearview mirror. "Let's check the map dudes. Should lead us right to cowzilla." He told the girls with a laugh.
Willow pasted the map to him before looking at the sky, narrowing her eyes. "Somewhere out in the countryside, is where I think it will be. I'm not good on maps, I prefer my gut."

''Maps suck. They require reading and reading sucks.'' She answered, sticking her toungue out and crossing her arms. ''As long as we kill moomoo, i'm good.'' The young girl continued, kind of annoyed by preparations.
Alex nodded in agreement as they drove. He knew all too well that dyslexia was one of many pains in the ass when it came to being a half-blood. “Somethin’ tells me that big meathead is probably hiding in the subway or somewhere underground. That’s where they feel most comfortable.” He mumbled. When he heard the word underground, John paled. He knew that any underground area was infested with monsters, and therefore, no place for a peace loving satyr. “I don’t know sunshine, he was in the labyrinth for a way long time. He might be in a building kinda like a maze, somewhere he can….have a constant food supply.” John gulped, frightened by his own reasoning. Alex thought a minute then resumed his drums on the steering wheel. “I say we check the country, its closer.” He decided. The group drove for a while until they passed a sign that read “Stony hill fun maze park and farm market. Next right.” Alex immediately turned and headed for the maze park. “I still don’t know if this is a good idea.” John mumbled. “Well, at least there’s food.” He added with a grin.
Willow perked up, pressing up against the window to look at the sign. "This is definitely it! There are plenty of mortals around and a maze! But we should wait until night, just in case..."
''Because you know, we totally dont look like normal humans.'' Samus answered, sarcasticly, looking throught her window and sighing. 'How comes me, a 12 years old, gets a mission of this importance and not the others? Uuuuugh..' The young girl thought, still looking throught the window.
When Willow mentioned going at night, Alex shook his head. “No way I’m fighting that thing at night if I got a choice. My dad’s the sun god, me and night don’t hang well.” He reminded them. John just laughed at Sam’s sarcasm. The group drove until they reached their destination. Alex got out and waited for the others to follow, then sent his car a safe distance away with the push of a button. There was no way he was gonna take a chance on something happening to his ride or his guitar. They walked into the market and John’s eyes went wide. “Duuude, this is a satyr’s dream. What a buffet!” he bleated in amazement. Alex chuckled and pulled his friend away from the fresh produce stands. “Come on, goat dude. Monster bashing now, food stashing later.” He said with a grin as he led the group to the large maze up ahead. It was a corn maze with high walls and lots of twists and turns. Alex bought their tickets and the man in a straw hat that worked the sales booth led them to the entrance. “Well dudes, are you ready?” Alex asked his friends as they prepared to take the first step in.
Willow nodded, taking out her tube of lipglose, looking around at the corn walls. "Let's do this. I don't think we should split up, let's stay together and be ready. I don't want to fight this thing alone..."
''What about the public's security?'' Samus asked, following them and waiting to be away from the public to summon her sword and shield. ''It would be good to come out alive but also to not kill humans.. right?'' The young girl added, kind of worried.
