Jasen was running through the towns alleyways, trying to find the master's lackey. 'Come on, where are you. I have an important test tomorrow first thing.' He thought to himself.

Marceline was floating in the streets, suddenly seeing a young man run in the alleyways, pushing people out of his way. The vampire followed him, curious. ''What is it he is running for so much?'' She thought, flying.

"There he is!" Jasen said, finding the one he was looking fore. A gauntlet appeared on his hand, and began to glow. He pointed it to the person.

The area changed into a void, with only three people in it. Jasen, Marceline, and another random person.

''What the crap is this thing?..'' The vampire muttered, landing next to Jasen. ''Where are we?!'' Marceline asked, her eyes turning black with a red spot.

Jasen turned, noticing Marceline. "Drat." He said before grabbing her, and jumping away from some kind of energy beam that was aimed for them.

"What the crap is the "Drat" your talking about?!" Marceline said, floating over him and dodging the Beam.

”Oh great. A vampire. look, just stay out of the way.” He said, dodging another beam, lifting up his gauntlet.

Marceline hissed, kind of pissed off. "What' a this place?!" The vampire said, the white of her eyes turning black.

"Not now. I need your assistance Willow!" Jasen said before a strange creature appeared before him.it looked like some combination of a spider and a dog.

Marceline hissed at the creature. ''Tell me, Mortal!'' The vampire said, shaking him.

"Nock it off." He pushed Marceline down, pinning her. "I'm in the Middle of something. Willow!" The spider dog thing charged at the other in the void.

Marceline hissed again, flying into the air, grabbing the spider-dog and going back into the air. ''Tell me or i drop it, Mortal.'' The vampire said, holding the spider dog but ready to drop it.

"Jeez!" He said, dodging another beam. "Where in a battle, that's my partner, if I lose, we both may not leave this place. Happy?"

''Could have said it earlier, mortal.'' She said, putting the spider-dog back and grabbing her axe-bass.

"Gee, excuse me for being preoccupied."

''Smeh.'' She said, attacking.

"Wait!" He said as Marceline was stopped from advancing by some invisible force. A beam of energy went towards the two again. "Willow, let's do it!" The spiderdog thing made some kind of net thing that stopped the beam befor running past Marceline, and the invisible force.

''I see..'' Marceline muttered, the white of her eyes turning black as she disapeared in the shadows.

"Can't worry about her now, I need to focus on the battle." He said, dodging another beam. "Willow!" The spiderdog had reached the other person, attacking him.
