Marceline laughed, opening a portal to hell and disapearing.
Marceline still followed him in silence, smirking.
He went to a cemetery, going to a grave stone that looked like all the others. "I'm sorry." He whispered.
Marceline patted him in the back, opening a portal and making a bouquet of roses go out of it. The vampire grabbed the flowers and gave them to him. ''Put it down.''
"I can't." He said handing the flowers back and getting something from his pocket. He gently placed it in front of the stone before leaving without another word.
Marceline looked at him, confused. She putted the flowers on another tomb that was marked: ''James Kiezuko'' and left to follow him.
''I want to understand. When i meet people, i dont just leave them like that.''
"Understand? Understand what? What could you possibly want to understand about me?"
''Youre obviously not a normal human. You dont put flowers on the tombs of your family, you let a weird vampire girl approach you without wanting to kill her and you are somehow willing to talk to me.'' She explained.
"First off, no two people are the exact same, we are all different. Second, that wasn't a family member. And third, I already know that I can't even come close to harming a vamp fiscally, so there is no point in trying to kill you."
''I know. Then, it means i dont need to know. Garlic could kill me.'' She replied.
"I know, that's why I ate some garlic bread before meeting you during lunch."
"Is there anything else? You following me around can give the wrong impression."
''What do you mean?'' She said, floating around.
"A vampire following a high schooler, what comes to mind when you hear that?"
''I do not know.'' Marceline answered, totally serious.
"It could mean either two things. A, your hunting me, waiting till I'm vulnerable, or B, you have feelings for me."
