''No, i do not drink blood. I eat shades of red.'' The vampire explained, crossing her arms.

Jasen sweat dropped. "Wouldn't that make you half vampire then?"

''No, it's a personal choice that i made.'' Marceline replied.

"You do realize that the only way you could possibly still be alive by that logic is by never having even tasted the blood of another living thing?

''I did never drink blood.. do you think i am happy of being a vampire? I saw my family die before me and couldnt help them. Everybody i know dies one day, that makes me forever lonely. Being immortal is a curse at this point. I sweared to myself to never bite a living thing because i am horrified about myself and what i became.''

"So what your saying is, that you an ex-vamp?"

Marceline facepalmed. ''I am a vampire but not by choice..''

"Like most are?" He said sarcasticly.

Marceline looked at him, a serious look on her face. ''I got bitten while i was asleep, that's not by choice.''

"And the one that bit you probably didn't get the choice either."

''Which doesnt mean i wished to be a vampire.''

Jasen looked at his clock. "I'm going to sleep now." He said before closing the window and turning off the lights.

''G'night..'' She muttered, starring a couple seconds at the closed window and floating away.

The next morning went the same as yesterday. Jasen woke up, got ready, and headed to school.

''Not going to bother him today.'' She thought, floating around the city.

After school Jasen was walking with another student, who appeared to be bugging him about something.

Marceline saw him walk with the other student that seemed to bother him. She turned to her (little) bat form and began to fly next to them, squeaking to get noticed by Jasen.

"Stupid bat." The other person said, trying to swat it.
"Leave it alone." Jasen said, graphing a hold of his arm.

Marceline frowned, squeaking even louder into the person's ear, causing it to hurt. She then gave the person a wing hit in the face, sticking her toungue out and squeaking as a laugh.

"Why you!" The person said with irritation, trying to swat the bat even harder, not noticing Jasen leaving.
