Raine waited for him patiently.she picked her nails and watched him walk in. She eyed the glass a bit and then grabbed the bottle and looked at him. "i thought you were late for something. Hmmmm?" she smirked a bit pouring herself a glass. She nlooked oover at him as she took a shot.
"I make my own times," he answered in between spoonfuls of stew. He reached over and took the liquor bottle, filling a glass for himself. When his bowl was mostly empty, he took a long drought from the glasses and put it down heavily.
Raine finished her glass quickly and then filled it up. Within seconds she finished it again and slammed the cup down. "Damn thats good shit." She smirked a bit. She looked over at Dadj, raising a brow. "So what do you do, exactly?" She folding her arms. She filled her glass once more, taking a shot. Her eyes never left him. She was studying him.
"Whatever I want to." He offered a sly smiling, his second glass of alcohol raising his disposition slightly. "As of late, I free foolish woman from traps. I don't suppose I can add that to any resume however." He shrugged and finished his bowl of food.
"Yeah well. I can't see at night." She looked at him. There was a few loud bangs on their door. "Open the door now!" Raines eyes widened. "Shit"! She looked around frantically. She looked at Dadj and then rolled off of the bed and limped to the bathroom. She looked at Dadj. "I'm not here!" She half whispered.
He watched her leave to hide and then looked at the door. After knocking back another drink, the Ranger got to his feet and calmly and steadily walked to the door.
He opened it without hesitation and raised his brows to the person on the other side.

There was actually three guards there and an official. He had shoulder length brown hair and he had a face that just made you want to hit him. He folded his arms. "I heard there was a woman about 5'4 with long black hair staying here. Where the fuck is she." He spat out in a rude attitude.
Raine gritted her teethAuron you bastard... She thought to herself, If he got her now she was in big trouble. She'd have to go back to her father and her life would go to hell once more. She hoped that Dadj would do what she had asked him.

The Ranger offered a fake smile and leaned himself against the door frame, arms folded comfortably over his chest.
"Do I look like a woman to you? I'm the only one here."
"Do I look like a woman to you? I'm the only one here."
"Then why did the owner tell me she was here!" He growled. He forced his way in, looking around. Raine stood behind the bathroom door, breathing silently. Her heart pounded though. The man walked into the bathroom, seeing no one and yelled in frustration. He walked back to dadj, giving him a look. "You're fucking lucky." he looked at his men "lets go!" He stormed out, slamming the door behind him. Raine gave sigh, sliding to the floor
"Perhaps you have the wrong room," the Ranger offered as he slipped out of the way. He watched with mild amusement as the loud mouth thwarted this clearly dimwitted guard. He smiled more brightly and definitely more fakely as the man cursed and rushed out.
"Good luck," he called sarcastically after them and returned to his liquor.

Raine limped out shaking her head. "So you've met my lovely husband." She scoffed and sat on the bed, wiping her face with her hands. "Fucking bullshit." She sighed softly and shook her head. She had been on the run for a short while now. She looked at Dadj. "Thanks."
The amusement spread across his face, this woman was funny. "So you're married to that dolt?" When she thanked him, he offered a shrug as if to say, it's nothing. In reality, he did it just to see what would happen.
"Yeah, hes a real lady charmer. My bastard father picks winners. I wanted to remain single but nooo. I get forced into marrying fucky mc fuck fuck." She shook her head and sighed softly, taking another shot.
He nodded as she spoke. "Your vernacular is stellar." He smirked and tipped the glass into his mouth, letting the smooth but pungent liquid burn it's way down. "He seems nice," he droned sarcastically.
Don't make fun of the way I speak." She folded her arms."Oh hes a real charmer." She shook her head. "He just wanted me for my body and title." She groaned. "I have a lovely family. Thats why I ran away from the military. General or not, I couldn't take it any longer." She spoke softly.
"The military?" Dadj repeated thoughtfully. He had never been in the military himself, per say... But the prospect of fighting for a living and actually being paid and fed to do it was always interesting.
She nodded some. "Yeah, I'm their general." She looked at him, expecting some sort of sarcasm or laughing. She folds her arms, watching.
He simply shrugged. He hadn't really meant to pose the sentence as a question; it had just come out that way. He turned his attention back to his drink, which needed refilling.
She took another shot and sighed. Her stomach growled loudly. "Oh now I'm hungry." She shook her head some a bit. "So what is your name exactly? I don't remember."
He gave her a look, honeyed eyes taking her entirely in. He evaluated her quickly and decided to give her his real name.
"Dadj."
"Dadj."
