Just thought I'd share this. Corset Story is having a sale on steampunk wear, 3 items for $150. No idea how long it lasts. Hopefully long enough that I can grab a few spiffy things. >.>

And yeah, it's geared at women. I'm not sure if they have anything at all for men. ^^;
Cool! On a completely unrelated note, today looks like a good day for giving illantis money. :)

Also I'll try to get back to our RP today, I've been busy with exams but they finished last week and today is a snow day! :D
This is awesome - some items have a good range for size, up to 3X, though some only have one or two sizes. It's worth a look if you're bigger like me - but all their shoes are tiny compared to my monster feet.

Do pardon me while I drool over everything.

/slides on into this corset discussion

I actually used to retail the corsets from this company to others online. For costume pieces to be worn for a short period of time, they are great. However! Something super important to note is that they have a horrible silhouette. Anyone with natural hourglass proportions will find them to be incredible uncomfortable (and unflattering) to wear after a while. If you do order from them, avoid the overbusts and stick to the underbusts.

Alsoooo you can just buy direct from the manufacturer (https://www.vglondon.com/ for wholesale or http://www.corsetdeal.com/). I used to have people go in on wholesale orders to save us all hundreds of dollars. There was only like a $500 min, and if you hit more than that, they offered further discounts.

If y'all want some really nice OTR (off the rack/premade) corsetry, I recommend Mystic City Corsets:

https://www.facebook.com/pages/MystiC-City-Corsets/207840415922521 -- She is based in the US, but has a slight language barrier due to her first language being Polish. I have actually ordered made-to-measure from her before. Her corsets are supremely curvy, and she even offers custom work. My made to measure cost me $100, which is insane. She'll hunt fabrics, add accents... she's a dream to work with. Oh, plus? Real leather options for less than $100, and quality vegan alternatives for those who don't do leather.

She's also got some OTR stuff here:

FURTHER NOTE, Orchard Corset is MARVELOUS and they've been expanding their fabric options and corsetry range. It's another OTR company, but they have some great steampunky corsets in a super affordable price range:

Plus, their customer service is insanely good, and their corsets are of a really good make for that price. I own a couple, and I love them to bits. They also do weekly giveaways! :D

Sorry, I'm just a waist trainer and I'm kind of super duper passionate about this sort of thing because I'm familiar with the company involved!
