Think Naruto was a horridly long manga? Think again! The manga I have been reading off and on is at chapter 913 and is STILL ongoing. What really makes it a slog is that there is so little plot development. Maybe a few chapters worth once every...50ish chapters? And if I am exaggerating, it isn't by much. I'm somewhere in the 500's and haven't touched in in months and yet just even looking at the first page of the chapter I left off on makes me groan.

Has anyone else ever deal with such a slog before?

I don't read manga though this does remind me of trying to finish the Wheel of Time series. Awesome setting... but it just never really ends.
