On a cool autumn afternoon, Nero nursed his coffee outside a small coffeeshop. Today, he'd lucked out, by getting the premium - the one in the sun, where he could watch the trendy girls pass by. He pulled his jacket tight as a cool breeze blew his long silver hair across his face. Perhaps the wind had kept most people inside, because very few people were passing by his table today. He opened a book and turned his attention towards it.

Feral groaned. So far today had to be one of the most boring days of her life. First off she had to go with her dad grocery shopping. Thankfully, she managed to slip away from him, but didn't have much else to do. She roamed the town in her boredom, sure her Father was having a heart attack looking for her. Soon she decided to go get coffee. She noticed only a handful of people outside the coffee shop, most preoccupied with something. She notices two people in particular, Nero who was reading a book, and another engrossed with his laptop. A wide mischevious grin crossed her face as she got an idea. She snuck around the side of the building and took on her smaller, Kitsune form, before walking onto the patio. She glanced in the mug the man on the laptop had. Surprisingly the large, multi tailed fox with bright lavender markings went unnoticed by the man. The man's coffee was black. She repeated the process with Nero, noting his non-black coffee. One of her tails threaded through the handle on the other man's mug, while another did the same with Nero's mug. She castd an illusion on the other man's mug, making it look like it and its contents were Nero's, before placing the disguised mug by Nero, and Nero's mug by the other man. She trotted off, returning to normal, and waited t see the results of her prank.

Oop: Sorry if Nero got black coffee, considering his sweet tooth I figured he wouldn't have

Unaware of the prank, Nero brought the coffee cup to his lips. His eyes opened wide, as the bitter black coffee hit his tongue. He held the coffee uncomfortably in his mouth, cheeks bulging outwards like a squirrel. He gathered up his courage, and swallowed the foul tasting drink. He raised an eyebrow, staring into his mug. It definitely appeared to be his regular caramel latte with three sugars. All of a sudden, he sensed the remnants of a spell. An illusion? On his drink? He hadn't seen anybody approach - but it was undeniable.

A moment later, Nero heard the other man gag on his coffee. He returned his bookmark to his book, and closed it. His green eyes surveyed the area, looking a possible culprit.

Feral began chuckling when she saw Nero's face after taking a sip of the coffee. Her giggling only intensified when she heard the other man gag on Nero's coffee.
