So this is just a long shot suggestion, it might be totally useless but it's probably better to mention it than to stay silent. I know mobile users have a hard time with dropdown menus. Like, I can only get them to work in one browser that I hate using and they don't function well in other browsers. I get around this by making a mobile dropdown version using columns and lists to mimic the menu. I have to manually add changes which I'm okay with but maybe this could be an actual widget? People who use dropdown menus could add this to their page for mobile users.

No to the widget. But only because I'm planning a major re-tooling of ALL templates later on in the year, that will include making them mobile friendly, which will accomplish this without having to add extra stuff to your profiles.
