I write - at the moment I'm ghostwriting a 50,000-word high fantasy novel (which I am slightly behind on, oops). I do historical combat on and off, and I want to try and get back into competitive archery, which I received a few medals for I do art as well but, as there are people in this thread who far surpass my own skills, no point in showing it. I do character/costume design as well.

Don't sell yourself short! I love your art. I've bought several pieces of it over the years and I've only stopped because I can't afford it anymore!

It's really cool seeing how many talented people there are on this site. The art is especially cool, and it's why I love the art trades so much.

As for me, I'm, uh, good at math?

As far as presentable talents go, I'm trying to become a better digital artist, (I'm at that stage where you know what it's supposed to look like, but it never turns out that way) and I came to this site to hone my writing skills, though I'll admit I've never been committed enough to publish anything.

So basically just math.

Edit: Also, I don't want to brag, but I play a mean game of Frozen Synapse.

Hmm...Umm...

I'm a figure-skater. I've been figure skating for 4-5 years now. I took a lesson awhile ago and that lasted a year then I took some time off to practice by myself then I came back to lessons. I learnt how to do all the cool spins and jumps in the air and I feel pretty proud. Haha. My friend is also a figure-skater and she actually competes in competitions and stuff like that. I was thinking about joining her and maybe signing myself up.

I wish I had some awesomesauce magical video of me doing some figure-skating like Kim's graceful dancing moves there, but I don't. Ehehehe.

I also do some archery. We score up our hits and we do some competing. It's pretty cool. I haven't been doing it for too long though, but I think I got the hang of it. We got to shoot stuffed animals and CDs at the end of our last class and that's really all I live for.


Anyway, I think that's it. Oh! And I can also do this weird noise with my tongue that my sister Zoey can't do. It sounds like popping popcorn in the microwave. She gets pretty hyped up about not being able to do it. She'll never beat me.

Well...special talents. Let's see...ummm. I don't have any talents or special talents...

Everyone does. Sometimes they just aren't the sort of things most would expect.

What things do people say you're good at? What things come easily for you (or have you been practicing a lot) while it may not be so easy for others? What things do you do that, when you're done, you feel satisfied with yourself for doing that specific thing? For example, I use to get tons of compliments on how I shaded flower pots! Someone else in here pointed to skill in a video game.

Well, I already said on my profile that I'm a writer. Not published yet, but working on it My main project is a five-book series (a trilogy and two prequels) set in my own medieval fantasy universe. It's a bit ... intense and complicated haha. There's a lot of genealogy and history involved, and I have a family tree with over 1100 fictional characters on it just to help me keep all of it straight (and develop even more characters in the future )

I'm also a singer! And a pianist (I teach piano to kids from my church). I was the director of an a cappella group for three years, and learned a lot about arranging while doing that.

Other than that ... I have a degree in Theatre Arts Studies with a Directing Emphasis and a Makeup Design secondary emphasis, and I'm working on my Masters in Educational Theatre and English. I'd like to think I have a talents for directing, acting, and many other such theatre-related things, but there's not really a way to share those on here, haha.

And of course, my most important talent - I am a Harry Potter trivia champion. That may not seem like saying much, especially in a community like this, but you really don't understand. I don't listen to the radio in my car - I listen to Jim Dale's beautiful performance floating out of my speakers.
