Thanks everyone for your interest! So I really like the idea of the sci-fi mixed with fantasy races and elements like mages. Does this sound like an interesting thing for everyone to write about?

I may make a new character. It depends on where we go with this. So I guess some options are colony/village or ship/crew? I'm leaning more towards some sort of planetary colony? Maybe a busy little place with markets and all the various fantasy races can congregate.

Then of course, we can discuss terrain. Let's think of this as a long term project. But as soon as we come up with a cool enough idea, we can start. We'll try to get a setting and story everyone has contributed to. If there is another genre anyone would prefer, let it be known.

I totally agree with the sci-fi and fantasy mix! (This is going to be my first world creating with other people tho )

I think i'm gonna sit in the corner and wait for it to start cause i don"t really have interesting inputs

Well i guess hmmmm,i think since we are mixing them then we should have two separate worlds. so you know we have the different planets with their terrain and then we have the space stuff

Maybe, or we do kind of like star wars (Except for all the planets): One planet, alot of lands, awesome technology and diverse races? But that's just my opinion

Yeah. Maybe we could take cues from some real-world mythologies and mix them into the setting? Kinda like how Thor works?

I think having other worlds, or at least having the possibility of them is a good idea. As far as making a good story, we need a good setting. Notice in Star Trek, there is always the Enterprise. A central setting, even if they travel all over. But if we start the story with people on different planets, it might make things a little less interactive.

So I'm thinking maybe there is a village we congregate in. Also, do we want it to be as far in the future where there is space travel? It could be an advanced society. An advanced village on a planet with a lot of races.

I like all the ideas, I'm just adding here and there and throwing new ideas. It sounds like we have some interest and creativity and that's all we need to make a great story!

Me too, but there should also be planets that dont have all the technology that the other planets do have. No?
