"You're the "reason", what do you mean by that?" Seeder inquired, his curiosity piqued. "I mean, you do know the rules of this battle right, we can't use our powers without a human partner, so what do you meant you're the reason?"

"I know very well you can't" The mamado said sitting down next to Donzo "I am the one keeping his vision from being blind most of the time"

"His vision?" Nico said quizzically, before remembering what the Mamodo previously showed them. "Wait, so you're able to give him back his sight, is that even possible?" Nico questioned, mostly to Seeder.

"Hmm, well to be blunt, yeah." Seeder replied. "It's true that in the human world a Mamodo's powers are restrained by their books, but there are some Mamodo that are able to use some of their abilities even without a human partner. Usually these abilities are not combat related, but it's troublesome to fight Mamodos who have them all the same." He explained

"...Ok, fair enough, so I'm guessing you're here to fetch Donzo, right?" Nico assumed.

"Not so much as fetch as you say... Tag along" He said the end in a fast response as if he didn't want to say it, "I just pretty much follow him around" He said now scratching the back of his neck.
"So how long have you known i had my book" Donzo asked picking the book back up "I recently dropped it so i now know where it is" Donzo tossed the book back on the table yet showed no sign of anger at all.

"Well, the important thing is that you found it, at least now you don't have to worry about it getting damaged or something and randomly disappearing." Seeder interjected, saving Senzo's hide.

"So I guess your next step now is to find a couple of Book Keepers." Nico stated, when something occurred to him. "Wait, Senzo, do you have a Book Keeper yet, or are you both still searching?" He asked.

"I am on search for one. I don't know who it would be though." (Sooooo I am hoping to have to characters join without mamodas is that possible.)

"Ah, I see, so you're still having trouble finding one huh?" Seeder said. "Well, you better hurry up, it's already pretty late in the battle, the other Mamodos are getting stronger, I myself am up to five spells already, and the longer you wait, the more powerful the rest of us will get." He warned, though in more of a friendly manner than a threat.

"Well, you two might want to get too it then, right now I have to get these guys situated." Nico said, referring to Mitoka and Weasel. He walked over to his fellow Book Keeper. "There's only one bedroom unfortunately, but the couch pulls out into a bed, so you two can use that, is that cool with you?" He asked, presenting the couch in question.

"I myself shall sleep in the trees and I deny to use the door in the morning" Donzo said smiling and sitting on it
"I shall use the roof and I promise I'll use the door." Senzo said sitting down where Donzo just stood from.

"Um... Are they really going to be staying as well?" Mitoka asked.

"I don't even care anymore," Nico admitted. "As long as their not trying to burn our Book and don't take up any more space, they can hang around us, who knows, maybe when they finally get Book Keepers they can become allies, Donzo seems like the kind of guy who would honor a debt."

"I don't honor debts i repay them" He said kindly and stood up on the window "Well shall i get back to what I was doing."

"What exactly were you doing?" Nico asked.

"Trying to sleep" He responds looking back down at the group in the room. "Im sure senzo will go through the window with me to get on the roof though"

"Sleep, it's only 7 o'clock." Seeder said. "Look, the sun's not even down yet." He pointed out the window to the beautiful sunset, the sky a bright red as the sun began to fall below the horizon.

"I have traveled a lot a nap is good for me" he said givings a half hearted smile.

"Well alright, good night then." Seeder said before retreating to the room he and his Book Keeper shared.

"So anyway, you guys will sleep here on the couch, the bathroom's that way, and the kitchen is over there." Nico explained to Mitoka, pointing out the key areas of the apartment. "It's not much, I know, but it's a roof over your head. You can stare until you find another place."

Donzo and Senzo went out the window he rested on the branch he was previosly just a bit above the window Senzo getting on the roof of the building.

"Thanks. I promise to be out of your hair as soon as I can." Mitoka said.

"Don't worry about it, I'm happy to help." Nico insisted. Just then, he heard Seeder hiss at him from their room, he turned his head to the door and saw Seeder's hand motioning for him to come. "Uh, so yeah, you just get settled in, we'll decide what to have for dinner later." He said before retreating to his room. Seeder closed the door behind him, what he wanted to discuss required privacy.

"Hey, are you sure letting all those guys stay here is such a good idea?" He asked, a hint of concern in his voice.

"I think it'll be fine, Mitoka and Weasel don't seem to be very much trouble, and Donzo and Senzo have that low maintenance, hobo samurai thing going on so..."

"That's not what I meant." Seeder interrupted. "I meant, is it safe to have four Mamodos all stuffed into one apartment?" He inquired. "Remember, Mamodos are naturally drawn to each other, sometimes without even being conscious of it, and with four Mamodo all clustered together like this, we're pretty much just one big target. I wouldn't feel so bad about this if we were all active, but one of us refuses to fight and the other two don't even have Book Keepers yet, so basically we're tripling our danger with no added benefit, we'd still just be on our own fighting mobs of enemies... who knows how long we'll last like that." Nico had to admit he understood his partner's concerns, and took a moment to ponder the subject.

"...I see what you're saying, but honestly I wouldn't worry too much about it." He replied, surprising Seeder. "It's not like we're avoiding combat like Mitoka and Weasel, up until now we've been fighting any Mamodo that we cross paths with, all that's gonna change is that it's probably gonna happen more frequently, that's all. We're in this battle to win aren't we, so if more enemies are going to start showing up, I say bring it."

"...Yeah, you're right." Seeder agreed with a determined look on his face. "We'll have to fight them sooner or later, so I guess sooner it is, and no matter what, we're gonna win." Nico nodded in agreement, the team's determination rekindled.

Donzo stayed awake in the tree waiting for a battle to start he knew a group this big would surley atract the ttention of other mamodas if so he would still be able to fight with his sword but it would be insanely difficult against a mamoda with a book keeper
