I'm a foodie. Always have been. I was a cook for years, at the same time I was bartending, and I practically grew up in my grandmother's kitchen, so I'm the kind of guy who will sit and watch Food Network for sheer enjoyment. So, believe me when I say, I LOVE to talk about food.

So, OBLIGATORY FOOD THREAD IS NAO. For instance, great site- This Is Why You're Fat. It's a crazy awesome blog about some of the weirdest, coolest dishes you could imagine. Everything from a Superbowl Lombardi trophy made out of Rice Crispy treats, to a mug made completely out of woven bacon and filled with melted cheese.

I saw "dark chocolate chip cookies with orange and cinnamon" on there once and ended up trying to make them. Came out awesome.

... I am both impressed and disgusted by the bacon mug. On the other hand, it's filled with melted cheese. I'll take fifty of them, please..

I love to cook and bake. Watching the food network for me is dangerous. LOL because I usually end up saying hey, that looks good, I should try that. Then a week or two later Mike comes home to something from the food network that (although looks like crap) tastes amazing. But I prefer to bake, lol. cookies and cakes/cupcakes. LOL all the good stuf
