The pack will die without a Luna.
For over a century, the pack Crescent has been without a Luna. They only have a few more years left before they altogether die out, and when Tex Grey is born, she assumes just that. But when she finds that she bears the Mark of the Alpha, the Mark that would make her Luna, she's thrusted into the politics of her pack. With the threat of war on the rise, Tex must form the bond with the Alpha, or else they're pack with fall.
(Looking for male alpha role. Thanks!)
Tex stumbled, falling to her knees in the dirt as the men pushed her down in front of the Alpha's house. "This is the last straw Tex! You can't keep starting fights without consequence. I am sorry, I have tried my best to keep you from this but there is no more mercy for you," the beta said roughly, rubbing his tired eyes as he moved to stand in front her.
Punishment. That word. It wasn't used unless you had committed a crime against the pack itself. But Tex couldn't understand how protecting the Alpha's good name was wrong. That's the only reason she was ever involved in a fight. Now she was being punished for it. How messed up was that?
Hanging her head, Tex braced herself as the beta's knee came up, slamming into the side of her face. Crashing into the earth, she dug her nails into the dirt and groaned softly. Shaking her head to clear it as she pushed herself up to sit again. Suddenly the Alpha's voice rang out throughout the clearing. "Stop! How dare you even think of touching her?!" he barked viciously. The Mark connected them physically and emotionally, but Tex wasn't even aware of the existence of their connection.

This pack seems weak, but you seem strong. Why not upgrade? Your definitely due for one...
