My bad! I didn't notice the Marchesa post! I'll get on it right away
It's okay!
I'm still laptop-less and quite busy, and will mostly return to full activeness by thursday. Hopefully.
It's Sasheth's turn now.

Btw, I see someone has once again changed their icon.

It was for Halloween!
...and Zygons are freaking cool.
Also, shall we do a minor timeskip later on? Since describing their riding habits until the other town would seem a bit repetitive.

Unless someone had some sort of run-in planned, sounds fine with me. ^^
If anybody'd like some lore for the ocuntry of Griax and the Florin lemme know. I planned some of it out since I made Isabelle and her profile is in need of updating
I should probably get some info, even if it's a bit vague.
Ooh, I'd probably like some too.
Even if it isn't likely that Marchesa and Ben know anything about Griax anyway.

Sounds good! Let us know when you're done with it. OvO
As for the timeskip I'm okay with it.
But shall I presume it's my turn, since Elodar doesn't have anything to say, or wait?

Go ahead. ^^
Sorry it took me so long to post back in this I completely forgot
Okay, I know I have planned out that there's a forest around Griax that's supposed to guard against invaders and ha tons of undead wandering around in it, interspersed with Florin Soldiers. I know the Florin are doing everything they can to fight off death and they'll resort to necromancy to avoid it, bringing back dead relatives or casting curses/charms on themselves(Like Isabelle) to bring them back after they die. When they go to war they use non lethal means to drive their enemies away.
The Authorities are often granted outright immortality, whilst normal citizens use necromancy to keep themselves from dying.
I'm sure I planned more out, but I don't remember atm

Seems rather interesting so far! OvO
Tough personally I'd put some restrictions on how easy it is to resurrect the dead, since it's a somewhat 'legendary' power. You know, like having thing to be really specific for it to work.

Yeah I know to fully bring someone back you don't just resurrect their body, that's how you get a zombie or a skeleton. And souls can't just be brought back on their own. Some stick around, but they aren't summon-able per say.
OH and speaking of which I have an idea how the group finds out Isabelle is undead.
Edit: Also toying with Necromancy not being too common, though not because of any taboo, but because only mages really practice it, and normal citizens simply use potions to try and extend their life.

Sorry for taking so much time to reply, by the way. I've been hit with a ton of roleplays lately.
And I'm sorry I took so much time to reply here
Anyways, later on in the story our characters would be getting into more fights with monsters. I figured one of them could kill Isabelle, but thanks to her charm/curse/whateveryouwannacallit she comes back.

Concerning the post on necromancy it sounds pretty reasonable. OvO
And as for the death by monster, only to be resurrected idea I like it. And as a bonus, to make it easier for the characters not knowing of her condition may I suggest her "death" maybe being caused by saving one of them? I know, it's a bit cliché, but think it might be a cool idea.
