I've come here because recently I've been trying to get back into rp (been on and off for a few years). I'm too shy to join my friend's D&D game (don't like to speak to some of them) so I guess this will have to do. I would have liked to join a RP forum and just keep it there, but I'm fine with writing over skype
I'm currently really looking for an adventurous rp, with more than two (myself included) people! (So, like D&D...but...typing). Keep in mind that I have noooo experience with that game except from what I've seen with my bae and our friend. Sooo, yeah...but, I've got a few years of rp under my belt! So I guess that's that, huh? Lol.
Um....I like cosplay, dressing up, and classical/orchestral music (well, all music really but those in particular). I like to play video games sometimes but I reaaaally suck at'em. I wish I was good, though. I love RPGs
I don't watch anime anymore; once in a while but otherwise I rarely ever watch TV. Buzzfeed is my equivalent x3

Well, there are certainly D&D games that run here, complete with dice, though you may have to spend a little more time looking for them (or just announce what you're looking for in the Looking for RP board). Most games here run more freeform, but plenty people are very much open to specific systems.

D&D can be a little hard to get into for the first few sessions -- there's definitely a lot to learn. But once you've got it under your belt it can be a pretty useful tool! I just recently started learning it myself, and though I'm far from a master, I can now play the basics pretty fluently (which is all I really want to be able to do.. I like the story part the best!)
There's lots of different versions of D&D though, so you may have to specify which one you want, if you have a preference. As others have said, we definitely have a few D&D games that run here. Usually they are in their own groups and you might need to get an invitation to join, but people here are very friendly and usually willing to help. Asking around in the Looking For RP forum is a great start!
