"I was undercover!" She snapped. "Don't make it seem like I was there for myself!" She said harshly. How dare he come waltzing in and judge her?! he knew nothing of her and her brothers and sisters!
"Great, good to hear." Alkilai replied, he honestly didn't care one way or another, as long as the evil bastard lurking around this town went down it didn't matter who did it. "Well, now that we have that all cleared up, I need to get some shut eye, the big hunt starts tomorrow, if you're any good at your job I guess I'll see you there." He said before once again making his way to leave the alley.
She growled under her breath glaring at him before turning on her heel rather forcefully and heading back to the institute. She was sure orion would love to hear about this. She would need to call Magnus. Maybe he could clear some of this confusion up.
Alkilai finally made it to his motel room, he went over his encounter with the Shadowhunter, perhaps he said too much, but he just couldn't help it, he really didn't like their kind, or anything that had to do with...
"You never cease to perplex me, nephew." Speak of the devil. Alkilai turned to face the intruder in his room, the voice had come from a man wearing exquisite white robes, with what could only be described as an impossibly beautiful face and neatly groomed blond hair, however, his most defining feature had to be the large white wings that grew from his back. "I thought you'd be thrilled to meet another of your kind, or at least the closest thing you could find in all of creation."
"What do you want Uriel?" Alkilai replied with a glare, he was irritated enough as it was, he'd really rather not deal with an Angel at the moment.
"Straight to the point I see, excellent, I personally would rather not spend to much time in this realm of yours." The angel replied. "I'm here concerning the demon you are about to confront."
"How so?"
"It is a very powerful one, and it is imperative that he does not accomplish his task here. If you intend to go after it, you must kill it before the Shadowhunters get involved." Alkilai was surprised by this instruction.
"Wait, you don't want your obedient little servants to do your bidding, what gives?" He inquired suspiciously.
"That is not the case, as long as the demon is slain it matters not who does it, but there will be no turning back for whoever does." Uriel explained. "Something is beginning, you can either choose to not walk this path or to walk it alone, but you cannot walk it with the Shadowhunters."
"...And why not exactly?"
"We'd rather keep your existence a secret from them, knowing a being like you is among them may cause some... backlash." Uriel stated. "Hopefully what you told Rosalin will remain as just a rumor among the Shadowhunters."
"...Right." Alkilai said. "Well, no promises, I fully intend to go after that demon, and that Rosalin girl doesn't strike me as a slouch, she's probably hot on its trail as well."
"Are you telling me you will not cooperate?" Uriel asked with a hint of malice.
"I'm saying I don't take orders from you." Alkilai replied, his glare intensifying.
"...And that is exactly why we don't want you messing with our soldiers." Uriel shot back. There was nothing left to say, they just stared at each other threateningly for a moment or two before Uriel decided to take his leave. "Goodbye Nephew, don't say I didn't warn you." With that he disappeared in a flash of light, leaving Alkilai to finally get some rest, tomorrow was going to be a long day.

Rose quietly walked to the institute, her invisibility rune hiding her from mundane sight. She came to the broken dirty church that looked like it had been abandoned for years. Holding the skirt of her dress up from the weeds peeking from between concrete cracks, she climbed the steps of the church. She held her palm out and whispered to Raziel. There was a click and the door swung open, making way to a beautiful golden hall.
It was one of the nicer institutes, and Orion did keep up the cleanliness often. She closed the door leaning against it and listening to the echos throughout the hall. The other were in Idris trying to get a hold of the Lightwoods, because they weren't back yet it was safe to assume they had not completed this task.
She hummed and walked to her form changing into clothes better suited for hunting. Grabbing an angel blade and her trusted whip, she secured her steele to her hip and pulled her hair up out of her face, before launching back into the night. Maybe she'd swing by the bar and get a drink.
Maybe....if it was peaceful to night she would....her duties came first....

Alkilai woke from his incredibly restless sleep at the crack of dawn, he had woken up at least three times the night before, he plagued by horrible nightmares, visions of a powerful Demon, slaughtering countless innocents in this very time as he stood off in the distance, unable to move from either fear or indifference, until he was finally struck down himself. These dreams were not incredibly vivid, but they did the job; at first he believed them just to be the Angels screwing with him, trying to get him to back out of the hunt, but he remembered the Demon speaking fluent Demonic Runic phrases, ones that the Angels couldn't possibly have such knowledge of.
No, this had to some kind of omen, it wasn't uncommon for Alkilai to pick up vibes from powerful demons before they surfaced experiencing their intentions, all the more reason to get out of bed and start looking for the son of a bitch.

Rose sat on top of a small hole in the wall bookshop. Filled to the very brim with with the widest assortment imaginable. She sighed and hopped down landing on her feet swiftly. She stood up straight and began her walk to the Pandemonium. This was a club known in the hunter community for having high downworlder appearances. She walked in without being seen by the bouncer and headed to the bar. It was dark with fog and music so loud it would hurt a mundane's ears. Her's were unaffected as she ordered a sparkling light pink drink. Taking a sip, she noted the faint taste of strawberries.
she leaned against the bar watching for anything suspicious.

Alkilai walked passed the Pandemonium on his way to where he predicted the Demon would appear. He noticed Rosalin's presence within the night club, is seems that Shadowhunters could not sense Demonic Energy the same way he could. He contemplated filling her in on the situation, from what he could tell he could be going up against a Greater Demon, it may be beneficial to have a little back up.
Ultimately he decided against it, he didn't trust the Angels, so he sure as hell wasn't gonna trust their "Soldiers". He continued passed the Pandemonium and made his way to an abandoned lot where he felt the Demonic Energy gathering. He walked to the very center of the lot and saw just what he expected to see, the ground was distorting, cracks appearing and changing shapes as an eerie red light shined threw them, a Hell Gate was about to open.

Rose eyed the crowd for anything. However, she failed to notice two piercing glares pinned to the back of her head. She sighed and stood up, leaving her unfinished drink on the bar. As she walked out the club's side door, she felt a shiver run up her spine. Whipping around to see two tall beings with glowing yellow eyes. "'Ello princess." One growled before a sharp pain smacked into her head turning her vision black....
