Eshe was a necromancer who was on a never ending quest for energy. Along with her son Kontar, she did what she could to get around her main handicap: being overweight, slow, and cumbersome. Her current task lead her to a store that sold magic based items. She was looking for magic crystals in particular.
"Hmmm, I'll take a few of these green crystals, and I'll buy a small purple one for Kontar," Eshe said, picking up the purple gem and giving it to Kontar. Like his mother, Kontar was a magic user. They both practiced magic every day. "So... what else."
"Maybe we should stock up on some potions, mom," Kontar suggested.
"Right, the potions are over there," Eshe said before waddling across the store.
Eventually, something caught Kontar's eye. Kontar saw a jar with a small creature in it. Kontar immediately pointed it out to his mother.
"Mommy, I see something cool, can you buy it for me?" Kontar asked.
"Huh?" What are you looking at?" Eshe asked, waddling over to the creature in the jar.

Cilo let out another groan as he woke up to the sound of thuds just outside his prison. The pixie stood slowly and stretched out, looking out over the distant storefront and seeing his capture. A middle aged magic woman across the shop, helping a rather large anthro mother and her son purchase crystals of sorts. Cilo was a dark magic users, and one of the strongest in the lands. Unfortunately, his small size kept him from fighting off people once they got ahold of him, so all the woman had to do was get ahold of him and throw him into a warded jar and that was that. He couldn't use any magic inside it, but other then that it was just a jar. He groaned once more and tapped his wings against the glass, wishing he could be freed from his prison to wreck havoc once more.
And then suddenly a shadow loomed over the jar, making him shiver. He looked up and saw the hippo anthro, gulping a little as the woman studied the jar carefully. "...E-excuse me...occupied..." Cilo said as he stared back at the woman, deciding that offensive words probably weren't the best to use while he was trapped like this.
OOC: Eshe isn't just a hippo. She also has a crocodile tail (Like Tawaret) and a kangaroo pouch as well (that was my idea).
Eshe examined the jar for a bit, and didn't know what to make of the creature inside. Her response wasn't exactly positive though. Eshe herself had no interest.
"A living creature in a jar?" Eshe said. "How would that serve me?"
"But it looks cool," Kontar whined.
"Even if this creature could grant me energy, would it?" Eshe asked.
"Why not?" Kontar returned.
"Because living creatures have minds of their own," Eshe mentioned. "You can not just say "Give me energy" and the creature is going to be like "Wish Granted." It doesn't work that way."
"I still think it's cool," Kontar said. "Can I have it? Pleeeeeeeease?"
"Oh, how can I say no to that noise?" Eshe asked, picking her son out of her pouch and snuggling against him before placing him back in. "Alright, you can have the little guy."
Eshe proceeded to take the jar over to the store clerk to finish shopping for the day.

Cilo growled a little as the woman decided it was perfectly ok for her to purchase him. "E-excuse me!?! Still alive here! Body belongs to me!! You can't just buy someone and call it a day!!!" He yelled angrily as he hit the glass harder and harder, giving an angry glare to the woman who gladly sold him off and pocketed the money almost instantly. As if the sign on the door that said no refunds wasn't obvious enough.
"Mommy, look at the little guy," Kontar said. "He seems to be brimming with energy."
"Ooh, watching the little guy is kind of fun now that you mention it," Eshe said.
"I... I think the little guy wants out," Kontar said.
Kontar decided to open the jar and grab the pixie. Kontar started to pet Cilo's head to seem friendly. "Hello there little guy," Kontar responded. "I'm Kontar, and this is my mother Eshe."
"Kontar, put that thing back in the jar, it could fly away," Eshe responded.

Cilo grumbled and was tempted to bite the child as he was pulled from the jar and treated like a pet. "I AM NOT YOUR PET! RELEASE ME THIS INSTANT!" He yelled angrily as he struggled in the little ones hand, all the while wishing he could hurt the thing without facing consequences.
(sorry its short)
"Mommy! Mommy! It talked!" Kontar shouted.
"Did it now?" Eshe questioned. "So this creature IS intelligent. I wonder how I can harness it's magic energy."
"No! Mommy! Don't hurt it!" Kontar cried.

Cilo gulped a little as the young boy heard his mother try and figure out how to gain magic energy, and then cried out for her to not hurt him. He didn't feel like getting killed, so he figured telling the woman was his safest bet. "...Pixies radiate a small amount of magical energy from there bodies, hence why all those adventurers have pixies on there shoulders. Although the shoulder thing isn't very efficient magic wise..." He admitted with a sigh. "Please let go of me..."
"Kontar, keep tight hold of it," Eshe said. "If you let it go, it will just fly away, and then I'd have bought you the damn thing for nothing."
"Mom!" Kontar shouted.
"Oops, bad language, sorry," Eshe apologized.
Kontar looked at the little pixie and didn't want to let it go, but Kontar could still tell it was uncomfortable in it's position. "Please don't fly away," Kontar said as he loosened his grip from the pixie.

Cilo relaxed a bit as the young one loosened there grip slightly. Enough for him to sit comfortably. He sighed, deciding that it would be smarter for him to red along for now and escape in the night when the mother was fast asleep. So he sat, watching the world go by, which was occasionally blocked by the big ones body as she swayed back to check on her son and then walked ahead again.
"My mother may seem a bit dodgy, and she really is," Kontar mentioned. "She's always looking for energy she runs out of it very much. Mom goes to great lengths for energy, but she says she tries to restrain the length she goes to for me. She doesn't want to put me in harms way or teach me to do bad things like hurt people. ...Did I mention my name is Kontar. Who are you little guy?"
Cilo sighed once more. "Cilo...it's Cilo..." He grumbled as he watched the world continue to just pass on by. All the havock or confusion or frustration he could be causing going with it. It truly was a shame. But...he would eventually get his chance. Afterall, he wouldn't be leaving without making sure this woman didn't go through some of that. "If she needs energy...like I said. Pixies radiate it. Like. A good amount of it. I'd have to be close but...it would work."
"Really now?" Eshe asked before grabbing Cilo out of Kontar's hands.
"Mom! What are you doing!?" Kontar shouted.
"So I could possibly use you for that reason," Eshe stated. "If I could harness your power to give me more energy, I could be next to unstoppable in the field of Necromancy."
"Mom! He's my friend! Let go of him!" Kontar shouted.

Cilo winced as he was lifted and squeezed a bit too tight by the large woman. He squirmed a little and then gave in. "Yes, but killing me isn't going to help! Skin to skin contact is the only thing I've heard. But the softer parts of skin are better, less resistance. Please loosen up..."
"Hmmm, right," Eshe said as she loosened her grip a bit, but made sure she could still hold on. It was then that she started to cast a few spells. Eventually she summoned a few skeletons and started swinging at them with her staff. She managed to break them apart until the last one where Eshe started to breathe heavily. She could barely swing her staff one more time.
"Okay, why isn't it working?" Eshe asked.
"Okay, why isn't it working?" Eshe asked.
Cilo sighed a little. "Well for one, your not anywhere near close enough. Skin contact on the body, not a limb or a hand. And your not exactly using the most efficient form as well..." He said with a smirk. "And your a master?"
"Well I would put you on my shoulder, but I don't trust you enough to not fly away," Eshe said. Eshe's skeleton was coming right at her, but fortunately Kontar cast his own magic to finish the skeleton off. "And what do you mean by "Efficient form" and "Master?" I happen to be quite strong at necromancy, thank you much."
Cilo laughed. "Your power is fine, your form is horrible. That would save you some energy, and like I said, even if you did let me stay on your shoulder it would only let you attack two maybe three more times? It'd have to be closer if you wanted an insane amount of energy."
Eshe kind of felt insulted. She was not the kind who was proud of being fat, but she was the kind that didn't want to admit she was fat.
"I am perfectly normal weight for my species!" Eshe lied. "I can do anything I want to, and here you are mocking me? And how close would you have to be for me to draw energy from you?"
"I am perfectly normal weight for my species!" Eshe lied. "I can do anything I want to, and here you are mocking me? And how close would you have to be for me to draw energy from you?"
Cilo shrugged. "I mean. Well." He blushed a little. "Let's just say there's a reason most people who have pixies for energy specifically you can't see the pixie." He sighed. "Uhm...like I said. As close to your inside as possible. BUT EATING IS NOT AN OPTION SO DONT EVEN GO THERE!" He yelled angrily. "Besides! I'm not letting you stick me that close for energy anyways..."
