Oop: Okay that could play into my idea.

Kyle read upon the town closer before turning to Jenny "Do you know how to get to Branch-dale? He might be there according to the journal!"
"Uh.... sorry but I don't."Jenny said. Hans got up and went over to Jenny, booty bumping her to the side and taking the reins. "Don't worry, I got this. Know exactly where that city's at. Most advanced city in the country."Hans said.
Kyle listened "Advanced city? Is their technology advanced compared to the other distant cities?" he said as they proceeded flying on towards the direction of Branch-dale
"You have no idea."Hans said. "Some human a few years ago discovered a way to generate lightning with out the use of a storm. He called it a Lightning Coil. From there things advanced. By now, almost everything in the city is powered by lightning. Vehicles, lights, general machines. Alot more advanced and easy than the steam, gas, and coal power everyone else uses. Allows for alot more versatility aswell. I've heard from some travelers that Branch-Dale even has moving picture boxes. Kinda like a book or comic book, but the images move and have sound."Hans said. "It's got an absolutely massive Gremlin population. To make things better, the city's mostly neutral to Fae. There's still animosity and rascism, but you cn atleast walk the streets without having to worry about getting caught by a trapper and sent to a crematory. The Fae in the city also set up a more Fae friendly under city, for the smaller species of Fae, like us."Hans added.
Kyle rubbed his chin "That's interesting...Someone found a way to use the electric currents to their advantage in order to create a city with some stronger technology. I'm actually pretty impressed with this. If only they could use it for the other towns now..."
"Sure they could, if they wanted to share."Hans said. "It'll prolly be a few hours before we get there though."Hans said.
Kyle glared a bit "What's the problem? Are they intentionally bad people?" he said as he nodded at waiting for a few hours.
"I think it's less that they're bad people, and more that their tech gives them advantages in several ways and they'd like to keep their advantages to themselves."Hans said.
Kyle stops glaring and rolls his eyes "Oh right....So they're pretty much not good at sharing..." he said rubbing his head.
Hans nodded. "Pretty much yeah."He said. Several days had passed as they continued to travel. By now the sun had set and the moon was up in the sky. "Shouldn't be much longer now."Hans said. "Good. We've passed over several other cities and villages."Jenny grumbled groggily. "Wake me when we get there."Jenny said, curling up to sleep. "Oh, we'll be there here in a few minutes."Hans said eagerly. Over the horizon a cluster of several metal towers that were all connected to each other via wires. Oddly, the complex the towers were in was completely lit up. Just beyond that was a city, which was also completely lit up.
Kyle didn't feel too easily tired after resting his body and recovering and all his mind was focused on with revenge. Not just for himself, but for his best childhood friend and even then, he could still hear his piercing yell out for Kyle and somehow, this just made Kyle feel all the more angry and it was clear, he didn't look like one to smile. Once they were nearing their location, Kyle looked below him "Its pretty obvious we're here now it seems...I don't think I've seen such a brightly lit town before...Its almost unusual." he also noticed the towers too and looked closely at their wires connecting to the town.
"You think the lights are weird? Just wait 'til you meet some of the locals."Hans said. Harpee soared over the city. Below were carriages that had no horses pulling them. Lights littered the streets, all being much bright than the gas lamps most other cities and towns used. Some buildings had signs erected up, with the writing on the sign glowing with bright neon colors. A number of wooden towers with wires and cables running between them could be seen. Jenny had sat up when Hans mentioned they were getting close to the city, and any hint of being tired on her was gone. She stared below them with an look of sheer amazement. "A-A human built all of this?!"She asked, with Hans nodding.
Kyle wasn't overly impressed as by now, he witnessed the bizarre with technology and looked around him closely as he saw a horseless carriage and such. "If a crazy scientist bat can create a giant underground lab and can create bizarre things is shocking, then this isn't as shocking."
"To most people it is."Hans said, as he took Harpee down. The bird landed, with Hans, Kyle, and Jenny hopping off. "Ok so, I'd say we should stop by a Gang of Gremlins here. Chances are they'll be able to lead us to the bat dude."Hans said as they walked on. Most people tried to stay out of their way, surprisingly considering how most cities disregarded Fae as pests at best and monsters at worst.
Kyle hopped off Harpee and followed the two and looked around him and noticed the people's attitudes "Hm....Nobody seems as bad as I thought."
"Ok, so where do we start looking here?"Jenny asked with a yawn. "Well, what did the book mention was here?"Hans asked Kyle.
Kyle checked the book once more and checked the logs "According to the book, he strikes dead at night in the dark alleyways in these parts. I think Guillaume is trying to find a way to fool the poor people. We should watch out for dark areas of the city."
OOC: Sorry I've been away for so long! Had a virus that stopped me from using Internet Browsers.

"Anything about what he did here?"Jenny asked.
Kyle read further into the situation and looked at Jenny "He's trying to use the electric power of this city and is attempting to augment it into people for his own use. We can't let him do that." he said clearly looking furious.
