Hans followed after Kyle. Once he was on the ground he headed back the way they came. "Wait, shouldn't we try and help out here?"Jenny asked. "Dude, Trecus can handle things himself."Hans said. "Yeah, but there's way too many people here for Trecus to let out on his own."Jenny said. "Just let Trecus deal with it, he's done this kind of thing before."Hans said, he headed back up to the attic.
Kyle rubs his head "But...Can't there be a way we can help him from above? While he's got the ground covered, he still should get owed a hand. Its the least we can do for helping me free Jenny and freeing Jenny." Kyle said as he felt like as much as Hans felt sure with his choice, Kyle didn't and neither did Jenny.
"I don't think there is."Hans said. "What if more trappers show up?"Jenny asked. Hans shrugged. "There's not a whole lot we can do, even with that bird."Hans said.
Kyle sighed and felt annoyed. However little did he know is that little anger inside of him triggered something in him slightly. A wave of heat. Kyle was oblivious to the tiny spark of flame coming from his paws that appeared and then went.
"Whoa! How'd you do that?"Jenny asked surprised.
Kyle gave Jenny a puzzled look "....What do you mean how did I do what?" he asked confused. Clearly not noticing the embers.
"You just made fire in your hands! How did you not notice that?"She asked.
Kyle crossed his arms "You must think I'm crazy to believe something as bizarre as that..." he said but glanced at his paws once more. Granted, they felt hot but...Surely that...Couldn't be....Could it?
"Dude seriously, you did start a fire in your hands. I dunno how, but you did!"Jenny said. "You saw it didn't you?"Jenny asked Hans. "Uh, yeah but we still need to get outta here."Hans said.
Kyle hmms "Hans is right...Its better we just get out of here for now....But at the same time...What are we gonna do about Trecus...?"
"Well, if you can make more of that fire we could help distract the guards."Jenny said
Kyle sighed "But how? I don't even know how I triggered it..." he focused and thought carefully about whatever fire he had. Concentrating carefully but somehow, it wasn't working.
"Uh.... I dunno.... Maybe you have to be mad to use it?"Jenny offered.
Kyle sighed "....I don't really know and still can't believe its true. I mean, how on earth could I even do such a thing?"
Jenny shrugged. "I dunno, how can something as small as a Gremlin break machines the size of buildings?"Jenny asked. "I don't know how you did that, but you did. If we could help you figure that out then there's something we could do to help!"Jenny said.
Kyle tried to think again and pictured his hatred for the one that tested on him and those other victims and the lives ruined by him. Clenching his fist, he felt anger surge through him and with those thoughts in his mind, a spark of fire appeared in his paws again. This time, they were stronger. Kyle didn't notice this, but focused even harder at all the awful things the maniac did and the sparks became rapid and the mouse growled and for that moment, a flicker of fire glowed in his hand and Kyle looked out of it. Almost as if he wasn't aware of what was happening and upon close examination, his eyes looked bright red. The mouse growled and soon began firing some kind of fireballs down at the guards without being aware.
Jenny yelped, ducking onto the ground, alongside Hans. "K-Kyle?"Jenny asked worriedly.
Kyle began to throw barrages of fireballs at the guards and for his size, they were relatively big. Just looking at Kyle made it clear that his anger was burning visibly. Kyle fired out large blasts of the fireballs and once all the guards were gone, the anger faded and the glow on his eyes faded and as did the flames that died away. Kyle wobbled slightly and then collapsed out cold and upon closer inspection, one side of his nostril started to bleed out a bit of blood.
"Kyle!"Jenny called, running down to him. "Dude! Get up!"Jenny said shaking him.
Kyle mumbled as he was shook and the nose continued to bleed from the inside. It appeared clear that Kyle had pushed his ability too far for him to handle in his current state.
