How I wish that there are 'like' buttons here 'cause there are a lot of interesting posts that I would love to keep on liking. In fact, what about a button? (Not a suggestion. Just a-a...I don't know O_o)

I personally would not want or use this at all. The thing about 'likes' in posts is that it removes the incentive to interact with the poster in my experience. I notice this on Facebook a lot (and do it myself, admittedly) and it makes me feel rather alienated from my friends sometimes. I think on a place like RPR, removing incentive to interact is damaging to the community. I'd much rather see someone post "I like this!" than have them click a thumbs up and not say anything at all. That little smidgen of effort to hit reply and type something makes me feel like someone really cares, whereas clicking a button doesn't add anything to my topic/post/discussion and is meaningless.

That's just my two cents, I know some people really appreciate like buttons, but I'm not in favor of having them on RPR myself.

I'm pretty much on the same page as Sanne, here. As nice as the 'like' feature is for some sites, I feel that it would be destructive to the RPR community because it would take away personal interaction. If you enjoy/like someone's post, comment on it and tell them why!

I agree with sanne it takes interaction away. you chould just as easily "fallow" a post and post in it to bump it.
