Hello! I'm having a problem I haven't encoutered before.

I seem to have misplaced my BBcode edit utility bar? It's gone! Just upped and ran away on me. It took the kids too.

Joking aside, I've updated by java and restarted both it, my browser(s) and my PC to see if I can get it to work again. Nope.

I'm running;
Firefox 37.0.1
Java version 8 update 40 (build 1.8.0_40-b26)

I've also tried using it on Chrome (Version 41.0.2272.118 m) and have the same problem.

I was wondering if you had any ideas?

Can you check if you enabled "Do not show the WYSIWYG text-editing tools" in your settings?

It's almost certainly what Sanne suggest.

Although, just a note -- Java is not in any way related to Javascript, and javascript is what drives this feature.

Also if you're running the Grammarly app, it'll sometimes disappear.

More recently, I have found that it has stopped disappearing, but you lose any ability to view/click all but the top 3 or 4 pixels of any drop down menu (such as text size). BUT that's not your problem.
