Has anyone else had a problem with email notifications suddenly stopping? Any ideas how to fix it?

Yes, I've checked my spam, and they're not there. I'm not getting emails for anything. It just started this morning - I was getting the emails last night.
I'm receiving emails for both PMs and subscribed topics just fine. What email provider are you using? There's a chance email is delayed on the provider's end right now.

Yeah, I already looked at my settings and tried resetting them. Maybe I'll try changing my email on here and see what happens - though that's kind of annoying, but oh well
Emails are sending okay on our end right now. Unfortunately, once they are sent, we have little control over how they are delivered. It's sort of like sending a letter -- sometimes the post office loses the letter in transit, or gets delayed by a snow storm.
Although this is irritating, if you've truly only been experiencing this issue for a few hours so far, it may just be that there's some kind of temporary hiccup in the intertubes between us and you and you might get a sudden glut of notifications all at once in a short while, or it may be that those particular emails got eaten by a 'net monster but it will move on and future emails will reach you.
If this continues for more than a day or two, then it's probably time for more troubleshooting.

Yeah, I just changed my email and they're going through fine to the other server. So I'm not sure exactly what it is. Just thought I'd ask just in case!
Can you let me know which email host it is that is having trouble receiving?
Chiming in: I too use Hotmail and also have stopped getting email notifications, guessing as of yesterday or the day before. I didn't notice it until I got into a group PM convo and the messages rolled in, but the emails didn't--and I know I haven't touched my settings for that feature!
Edit: And yes, I belieeeve the emails are sent out in bunches (unless I'm confusing us for Furcadia's email system)--I've also noticed a lack of email notifications for topics I'm subscribed to (with the settings checked rightly for that feature), making me miss new replies when I'm away from the computer and could access the site on mobile.
EDIT Apr 14th: I received an email notification about a PM today, so I guess the issue is possibly fixed (on my end?)

Just want to point out that users might want to consider switching from Hotmail to a different email service, such as Gmail. Hotmail has been phased out (in numerous ways) and it's one of the buggiest, most unreliable services at this point. (If anyone mentions they're having email problems, most customer supports' first guess is "Hotmail" because it's so notorious for disrupting email flow.) The issues you guys were having aren't related to RPR whatsoever, it's purely been on Hotmail's end. It's likely it will happen again in the future.

Hotmail is indeed my first guess any time someone reports these problems, and more than 80% of the time it seems to be involved.
