"Ouch! It does hurt when you fall from Heaven!" I stand up, trying to get my balance. "Where am I?" I stumble around for a bit, trying to understand my surroundings.
Falling, yes this was definitely the sensation of falling, and the feeling of wind banging against his body told him he was falling fast. His eyes opened to reveal a dark, cloudy sky, he was indeed falling, but why. He turned his head to the right, nothing, then to the left, and he definitely saw something of interest, falling beside him was a figure that seemed to glow a bright fiery blue, to luminous to actually make out what it truly was, to any on lookers down below, it would seem like a magnificent shooting star. Wait, down below... he turned his head downward and saw the ground fast approaching, somehow, in the last five seconds before he and the other falling object touched down, his sense of sight became heightened and he took every detail of ground zero before he landed with a loud thud
Alkilai's eyes flew open as his dream reached its end, he sat up on his bed, now wide awake, taking in the familiar surroundings of a cheap room at an inn. He looked over to the sole window in the room, he looked upon the horizon and saw the faintest hint of a blue streak across the sky. He let out a sigh. "Why can't I have normal dreams." He lamented before sliding out of bed and dressing himself, as much as he would love to ignore the dream and go back to sleep, he was already wide awake and he knew he couldn't just ignore it, so he went into the night and went to where he recognized was the open field he saw in his dream. There he was met with a peculiar, and unwelcome sight, a young woman was staggering out of a still steaming crater, a little disoriented if her posture was anything to go by, but when really got Alkilai's attention was the big white wings that extended from her back.
"Angels, why am I not surprised." He said to himself with ire before approaching the Angel. "Hey, I got your SOS, what do you want?" He asked in a disrespectful tone.

I half smile. "I've been banished to live in this world for all of my eternity." I look around. "So, where are we exactly? Where has my idiot of a father put me?" I walk closer, trying to still get a sense of where I could be. "And what exactly am I going to do here now?"
"...idiot of a father?" Alkilai said, a bit taken back by the... "bold" way this Angel referred to the big guy upstairs. He could already tell that she was different from the rest of the Angels he had encountered, however much of a douche they were to humans, they were fiercely loyal to the Lord, and would never refer to him in such a matter. It didn't take long for Alkilai to put the pieces together, the dream, the crater, the overall demeanor of the Angel before him, and the mention of banishment all pointed to one thing.
"You're... a Fallen Angel, aren't you." Alkilai said with a hint of amazement and intrigue. He had heard myths of such beings, Angels that had fallen from grace, either from their own choice or due to being cast out of Heaven for one reason or another. Apparently they were incredibly rare, the only one widely known of was Lucifer, and since he became a Demon Lord after his fall, he was a bit weary about this girl before him.

"Finally, a smart one." I smirk. "Maybe you will actually learn something about me." Having fully recovered consciousness, I had also regained my sassiness. I look up to the sky. "Finally out of that Hell I called home. Thank..." About to say God, I caught myself. "Myself, of course, for I am the only god you need to pay attention to. I actually make reasonable decisions."
Alkilai's hopes fell with that last statement, she was different alright, she was even more self-centered than other Angels, actually, even that was not accurate. Angels weren't really self-centered, self-righteous and condescending yes, but not vain enough to call themselves Gods, he had a feeling this was connected to why she fell.
"...Uh, I'll take that as a yes." He breathed out awkwardly. Alkilai looked up at the night sky, judging by the position of the stars, it was still late at night, nobody should be awake in town, so he could at least sneak her in to somewhere more private. "Listen, it's not exactly ideal to be talking in an open field like this, there's an abandoned sawmill in town, we'll talk there." He said before turning to lead the way.

I follow, looking around, trying to understand this area that we're in. "At least the place looks nice, I shouldn't have trouble." I check my wings, and, upon seeing them fully unfolded, I fold them against my back. "Can't have wings sticking out in the middle of a town of mundanes, can I?" I say, sighing.
"The politically correct term is "Human" thank you." Alkilai stated, he was always saw "mundane" as a slur, typical Angel. They eventually made it to the sawmill, it seemed like it hadn't seen use in months, maybe even a year or two, the blades were old and rusted, and wooden chips littered the floor. He took a moment to make sure they weren't followed and then turned his attention back the Angel.
"Alright, you wanted me to learn about you, let's start with your name." Alkilai stated, crossing his arms and giving her his full attention.
"Alright, you wanted me to learn about you, let's start with your name." Alkilai stated, crossing his arms and giving her his full attention.
"My name. Well, my full name is Kirikisa, but you can just call me Kira." I shudder at the mention of my full name, I don't want to be connected to my past in any way. I want a new life, though I swore to tell no one long ago.
'Kirikisa, never heard of her, guess that means she isn't an Archangel, or has been down here very often.' Alkilai thought to himself, there were many Angels and very few of them were ever named to humans, so the ones he never heard of were usually too low in the hierarchy or just never been given any business here on earth, he couldn't tell which this "Kira" was.
"Alright, Kira it is, so tell me about this banishment of yours, what exactly did you do to get yourself tossed out?" He inquired.
"Alright, Kira it is, so tell me about this banishment of yours, what exactly did you do to get yourself tossed out?" He inquired.
"I was just myself, strolling along, then some Lower Angel walked up to me and tried talking to me, so I ignored him and refused him service. I shouldn't have to even be in contact with a Lower Angel! So then I went and contacted dad, and he said that I need to apologize to that terrible abomination of a being." I scowl before continuing. "So, I refuse, asking why I even should, then it led, well, this." Kira shrugs.
Alkilai clenched his fist in anger, the metal in his gauntlets scraping together as his grip tightened with every word she said. Lower Angel, as in an anointed human soul given entrance into Heaven with promise of paradise only to be treated as second class citizens and sometimes even made into servants for Cherubs and Seraphs. It was ironic really, she got cast out of Heaven for doing exactly what all other Angels did, the only difference was that she didn't sugar coat it.
"Alright, I think we're done here." Alkilai spat, turning away from Kira. "Obviously someone so above a Lower Angel doesn't need my help, goodbye and good luck." He said bitterly before making his way to the exit of the sawmill.

I put my hand on my hip. "Fine then, your loss! You'll never be able to find someone like me. Hmph!" I watch you go, but secretly I'm upset. My one chance at a friend. I frown.
"I sure as hell hope not!" Alkilai shot back as he approached the door. He was just about to reach out and grab the door handle when suddenly, out of nowhere, something broke through the roof and landed right before Alkilai, kneeling down on one knee as a bright light shown down on him. Alkilai retreated back a few steps as the figure stood to its full height, it donned regal looking white and gold armor with matching sword and shield in hand, and what's more, it had large white wings on its back and a glowing ring floating above its helmeted head.
"What the..." Alkilai began, but was interrupted by five more falling in, for a grand total of six angelic knights surrounding the Nephilim and Fallen Angel. "Friends of yours?"

I looked around, very baffled. "Uh, no. I've no clue who these...things are. Or why they've come. Should we kill them? Will they try to kill me-" I caught myself. "Uh, us?" I walked a little bit closer to one.
The Angel closest to Kira raised its sword, pointing it at her threateningly, prompting the rest to do the same.
"I'll take that as a yes." Alkilai said, falling into a fighting stance and his gauntlets glowing with Holy Light. The angelic assailants lowered into battle stances as well, their wings stretching out as if preparing to propel them forward. "Well Kira, you talk big, let's see how you stack up." He said to the Fallen Angel, he backed up against her back at the center of the room. "You take three, I take three." Just as he said this, the Angels launched forward hovering slightly above the ground as they approached the two at high speed.

I grab my sword, Heosphoros, and assume defense. One of the attackers lunges at me, but I block him and engage in combat. Another sneaks up behind and I whip around and punch him in the nose. The first Angel hovered above me, preparing for a dive slam. I spread my wings and engage in air combat with him. "Can you fly?" I shout down to you.
The first Angel swung his sword at Alkilai, but he easily blocked it, sparks flying as the metal of the sword clashed with the metal of his gauntlets. The Angel swung two more times before Alkilai managed to grab the blade and hold in place, the other two Angels tried to take him from opposite sides, but Alkilai caught the blade of the second Angel with his other hand and kicked away the blade of the third before landing another kick on the Angel's chest, sending it flying back. He then kicked the second Angel away from him and threw the first angel into the air, however it just spread its wings and regained its composure before covering its wings with Holy Light and firing its feathers at him as projectiles.
Alkilai dodge rolled out of the way and before the Angel had the chance to refocus, Alkilai reached his right hand out at him and his gauntlet shot off of his hand, connected by a glowing chain. The gauntlet grabbed the Angel tightly by the neck, as evidenced by the Angel's pained gestures. "Don't need to." He replied to Kira before pulling the chain and slamming the Angel into one of the others that had recovered. He then slammed it into the third and finally pulled the Angel towards him, charging his fist with Holy Light and landing a powerful uppercut, releasing the Angel from the Grapple Gauntlet and incapacitating it.

"Okay." The two Angels on the ground flew up at me. I easily side-dodge them and they collide with the ceiling before coming back down. I flapped my wings hard, pinning them into the wall. I smirked. "Didn't think about that, did you, enemies? So, who sent you?" They didn't answer, but one slipped out and behind me. I turned around and flew up, knowing that if I didn't the two would get an attack of opportunity. I swung Heosphoros down toward the first Angel, injuring him and sending him to the ground. "One down!" I call to you. The second sees this as an opportunity and dives at me. I easily deflect his sword with me, and we struggle. Finally, I twist his sword back in him. "Gotcha!" I say. I stab him, and turn around.
The two remaining Angels attacked at Alkilai from both sides, swinging at him with their swords only for the Nephilim to block each and every strike with a well placed punch or kick. Alkilai tried to retaliate whenever he could, but the Angels managed to defend themselves with their shields. After a brief skirmish, Alkilai managed to evade a swing of one of the Angel's swords and took the opportunity to grab its wrist and guide it towards its comrades chest. The other Angel thought quickly and blocked the attack with its shield, however, Alkilai was prepared for this and before they could react he twisted the sword out of the Angel's hand and stabbed it with it, killing it.
Alkilai then crossed swords with the last Angel as it tried to retaliate, leading to a fierce sword battle where the two seemed equally matched. They met in a dead lock, each one pushing on each other's sword to try and overpower the other. Alkilai stared intently at the covered face of the Angel Knight before giving way, letting the Angel's sword slide right off his own and embedding itself in the ground. Alkilai then put his foot on it to prevent the Angel from retaliating as he threw a punch at Angel's face, only to be met with its shield, however, the sheer force alone was enough to make the Angel release its grip on the sword and send it flying back, only for Alkilai to pull him back towards him with his Gauntlet and kick him into the air. Finally, he charged the Sacred Sword in his hand with Holy Light and chucked it at the Angel, piercing its chest and pinning it to the wall. It's body shortly went limp and its halo disappeared, a sign of an Angel's death.
