Sooo I felt the need to post this forum because I'm sitting in the dark at 11pm crying because of anime. xD
I just got back onto the anime scene and discovered two animes that only have 1 season (D-frag and Dragon Crisis). Anyways! D-frag is a hilarious all about humor anime and it brings in all the anime cliches and basically just pokes fun at the usual highschool anime. But that's not the one that's making me cry right now (although it's sad it's gone.) Dragon Crisis is apparently not all that popular, but I can't understand why!?! I was on the floor crying way too much over that show at least once an episode!!! They managed to CRAM so much awesome story and relationship building and EVERYTHING into 12 episodes, and the finale had me literally crying, clapping, and screaming praise at my computer screen. And then I cried some more because I realize that's the end of it. It was made a few years ago, so there's no way someone's going to make a season two. So now that's the whole story. And I watched it all in one day. And I don't know what to do with myself!!
ANYWAYS! If you've shared a similar experience or have a favorite anime or anything you wanna discuss really then go ahead and comment away good fellows...and...lady fellows? (I'll see if there's an actual word for lady fellows later)
OH! And if this has happened to you teach me a coping strategy so I don't just randomly collapse tommorow sobbing and saying "why rose why!?!" Over and over.

Can't say I've ever cried because of an anime, but I thought Clannad was extremely touching. Its message about how life changes as you grow up had a rather powerful effect on me after I graduated high school and started drifting apart from my old friends and other people I knew. It was definitely memorable.
The Ushio arc may have been the closest I've come to feeling anything but amused with fiction.
You'll find plenty of other good works out there, I'm sure.

I did cry because of an anime too! Once.. or twice.. i dont remember.. Anyways.. The anime is Fairy Tail and is (in my opinion) one of the best representations of Loyalty and Friendship. And you can be sure that when it ends, i'll be crying my life.
Also Soul Eater (a bit bloody ._.) is also a good representation of team work! But is alot weirder then Fairy Tail
