I've never come across a problem like this one here, though I don't pay too much attention to other's roleplays, but on other roleplay sites I've noticed many people who are 13 or younger get a lot of hate. People say they're too young for roleplay or they need to get off and do normal kid things. All I have to say is if they're fairly good at roleplay and they love it and they're not actually bothering anyone, then age shouldn't matter. Actually, for the first part of that last sentence, even if they're not fairly good, they can still roleplay. None of use were master roleplayers from the beginning. If anyone isn't too good but they want to get into roleplay, help them out. Teach them the basics and even the advanced stuff if they're ready. Anyways, what I'm saying is no one should get hate or be told to not roleplay. If someone likes to roleplay, leave them alone and let them do what they want.
Although we don't allow children younger than 13 on site here (due to federal laws making it complicated to allow this) I have never seen this attitude here. Many of our oldest players started when they were quite young, and many older players are also new players. Whenever you come to RP, there's a learning curve, and we all started at the bottom of that mountain at some point. Plus, no matter how good someone gets, there's always room to grow. A good attitude is the best asset for a RPer.
