Sanne, you are totally right! As windows to test our guesses get rarer, we should be prepared to take full advantage of every chance we have. So when we have guesses, not only would sharing them help, but explaining our reasons why and having others help come up with alternatives and variants could also be useful.

So, for example, if you have a guess like "Darth Vader", by all means share it and let the community help you come up with all possible variants for that answer, like "Anakin skywalker" (Same person, different name -- what if you were right about the answer but called him by the wrong name when you got a chance to enter it into the seal, and didn't think of any other possibilities until later?)

There is actually already an example of this! We had one very exciting fight yesterday where the portal crew fought incredibly hard to get through to the fantasy portal so some answers could be tried Later, it turned out that the correct answer was, in fact, an alternate name that wasn't thought of before this push! What a twist! But most importantly, that fight was so difficult that they managed to break through with less than 60 seconds to spare before the next wave spawned, which meant that everyone who was online from the portal thread had to enter all known potential guesses for every seal as fast as they could! Didn't matter who had come up with the guess, just mattered that someone made sure to try it in that brief window of opportunity, and reported back their results.

This is a community game at its core. There are no prizes for individuals being the one to enter a correct guess, but there can be big ol' downsides to playing it close to your chest.

The community is starting to wake up! It's the weekend, and people have been working all night to help arm the people of the RPR, so in a few short hours it is likely we will be able to start coordinating successful strikes against the monsters again. We should try to have a list of potential answers ready to go for that!

Though I'm not sure if there's a forbidden pairing in there.... That immediately makes me think about Leia and Luke, but they're not exactly lost in space, are they?

I just jumped to the end of this thread so I don't know if this was suggested yet, but could the Jedi be Darth Revan? He was a Knight before he went Sith.

edit: Or, perhaps Darth Malak? Same deal. Revan was his master.

Are they the father of any characters, though?

Revan returned to being a jedi and was the father of Bastila's child. Malak far as I know never fathered any children. THe clue says well known character, I don't know how well known Revan's daughter is I do know his granddaughter and great grandson are somewhat well-known but Theron's father isn't a jedi/wasn't ever a jedi so his father can't be the answer and Revan I tried earlier.

I tried Bardan Jusik, Gotab, Darth Alkaios, and Darth Caedus yesterday. It was a no go. I might try that last one again, though, not positive if it went through before the goblins chased me off.

Did you only try Darth Caedus? Or Jacen Solo, too?

Jacen solo is technically a skywalker.

I'm unsure how far technicality goes, tbh. There's no specification on whether "once a Jedi" means they were/are Sith or just exiled from the order, so I'm taking the same mentality with whether they're of Skywalker blood or the offspring Anakin/Luke.

I've added these to the Rebellious seal:
- Darth Caedus
- Jacen Solo

We're working on clearing the portal's path so stand by and ready to guess! Please let me know which ones failed.

Does anyone know Bastila Shan's father's name?

Or whether her son Theron had children?

I tried all the guesses for the Radioactive and Rebellious seal, none of them worked.

He isn't a jedi. Was never a jedi.
