Just to be clear, Katia isn't making a suggestion so much as quoting one of the NPCs that keeps appearing at the top of the page.

The possible "fourth words" in that boast should probably be added to the guesses to try. They are: "we", "forgive", "forget".

I can't confirm or deny anything, but I do have to express my appreciation for that series and that phrase on a personal level.

Since you've been so stumped, I'll drop a hint: The silhouette of the mage seal is not so much an abstract representation as it is a tracing of a specific character from the series you need to be looking in.

Vivi, the black mage? From the FF series? I tried a couple things from that... I might need to dig further into the lore of the games I haven't played

I cannot believe I did not catch on to that! We did already have a clue to pay more attention to the symbols, hahaha.

My biggest problem is that theres a wide swath of final fantasy that I haven't played, but we at least have a direction!

I have a dumb guess for the mage seal. I was thinking maybe the Shikon jewel from Inuyasha? It was created from Midoriko as she died so if you take life from dream it kind of fits.

For the 2nd clue, the jewel does have a will and it's own intentions.

3rd. The jewel as been seen as being both purified and tainted.

Probably not it, but it kind of fits.
