The Mage Seal has been unlocked! The answer was Chef's Knife--the weapon the Tonberries carry in the hand that isn't holding their lantern.

Geeze, you had time to even check out something beyond the first guess! You're a pro.

Also, this is confirmation that the answers can be more than names! I know what to do next time in this case.

Boo, Doctor Strangelove was already tried. I wonder if it's still related to that, though - fits awfully well. I'll try Dr. Strangelove and just Strangelove if I get the chance.

The Windy Seal is NOT:

Rain
Rain Thropp
Oziandra
Oziandra Thropp
Thropp
Rainary Ko
Miss Rainary Ko
Pink Conch
Conch Shell
Pink Conch Shell
Shell
Lake-Shell
Lakeshell
Lake Shell - Nope, it totally WAS lake shell and I suck at hitting enter.
Emperor Shell
Shell Thropp
Wanting the other portal cleared or to have the warriors resupply?
Just had a thought for the sci-fi portal's Radioactive Seal: has anyone attempted any names related to the Manhattan Project...?
CONSPIRACY TIME, check it.

Stalwart Seal!
V = 5
second clue: common phrases
Third clue: fourth word
Common phrases with nouns in them:
...
"TIL ALL ARE ONE"

TRANSFORMERS!!! I'm sorry

How is 5 transformers? I don't know transformers well enough
Tar

"Ori" is the major guess for the Stalwart Seal - the symbol possibly being the gate symbol for earth (fifth planet from the sun) upside down and the phrase "hallowed are the Ori" fitting. I can't figure out what the fourth word might mean in regards to this, though...

It might also be Babylon 5 and we're nowhere close. 8P

We already found the guardian, but this might be a clue pertaining to setting like perhaps Fallout...?

I was just about to comment the same thing! I'm sifting through scientists from New Vegas and F3, if anyone wants to help poke around.
Honestly, the first thought I had when I read "Sci-Fi" and "4-word phrase that's often used" was BEAM ME UP, SCOTTY!
But "Scotty" did not work.

For the Mage seal, yesterday I tried Excalibur, Xcalbur, and Masamune, which are sometimes referred to in the Final Fantasy series! It wasn't those, obviously!

That's a really interesting guess! I approve, whether it worked or not!

I'm still convinced it's Dr. Strangelove, fits awfully well. I think "Doctor Strangelove" was the only variation tried...?
Kim Topic Starter Site Admin

I seee.... dr. strangelove, strangelove, doctor strangelove
Kim Topic Starter Site Admin

And a whole lot of "doctor manhattan"
Tar

Aww, WELP nix that idea then.

( Doctor Manhattan didn't die, guys! Well, not exactly. It also defiantly wasn't an explosion and he was also named after the city. )

There've been more than 400 guesses submitted so far. A bunch of them match only one of the clues or even just the seal shape.
Thanks to onion (and Kim), we now have the second Star Seal clue unlocked!
The Guardian of the Star Seal

The Grey's second clue is: It was used in three films but the name was mentioned only once

Thanks onion! :D
