@EBG: That is a super smart suggestion! It sure is a commonly used phrase if it's in a season's opening!

Thanks, Sanne! The other commonly used phrase in that opener that has 4 words is "home away from home." But does that answer "what they are?" Hmmm. "Third Age of Mankind?" Does that leave out all the aliens, though? "(All) alone in the night?"

I just loved that show...

I'm just shooting in the dark here. While I'm still sure it is Babylon 5, the phrase bit has me thinking of battlestar Galactica. "So Say We All" is said so much in that series... while it probably isn't it... still there is a four letter phrase from a sci fi series. Oh but... just thought of something else that makes things, less easy but still a thought.
The clue says "The fourth word" not the the phrase has to have four words. Those are my two cents anyway.

I've never watched it - it's been on my to watch list for a while but I never got around to fetching the episodes to watch. It needs to be on Netflix and I'm mad it isn't!

None of them have -really- memorable quotes or things that stand out.
Are we just chasing a false lead? Or is there some catch-phrase that I'm just not aware of.
