Sorry I haven't been very useful, guys! I haven't been feeling great the past couple of days and my ability to sit down and sleuth is poor. I will attempt to catch up now!

WHat are the clues?

Check the first page! We have two comprehensive posts that include links to all of the found Guardians; just click their link to see the clues they give for their particular seal.

Hmm. I've been doing a wee bit of thinking about the Gryphon seal - and while Star Wars is definitely the first thing that comes to mind with the first clue, the other clues don't really seem like they fit. (The canon is pretty particular about the Force not being magic.)

Since the shape of the seal is the RPR Gryphon, perhaps it's another seal that has something to do with the site itself, like the ones that are (probably) Server and about the mod squad?

I know News posts occasionally go up about milestone things being passed - character numbers, users, etc - but I can't seem to recall any with 8000 being a figure at the moment. But maybe someone else's memory is better than mine!

Edit: It wasn't the site trivia, but it did remind me of 2012 when we had The Great Bug war!

Edit 2: So, I think the clues refer to the second anniversary. The Great Bug War? Kim called out for help (You're my only hope), there were thousands of characters standing together (8000 standing together but for the magic user in a prominent position...?

I'm not sure, really. I'm thinking "Evil Server Spirit", as the knight and princess aren't magic users. Perhaps it's the players? But it only refers to a single magic user...

I think it's Evil Server Spirit to be honest! I'll put in Hero/Knight and Princess too though.

I think Gryphon definitely has to do with the bug war, yes, based off the first two clues. After a quick rewatch, the two most prominently featured magic users in the video are Wizard's Edward and my own Rhaetia. Could be one of those two, perhaps?

Now that I've had a chance to think about it, I think I've got the Quill Seal's answer: I'm rather sure it is Mandragola or The Mandrake, a comedic fiction penned by the great (and controversial) Italian politician, historian and dramatist, Niccolò Machiavelli.

I've been trying to keep up with what's going on and only just notice that one of the clues happened to be me! Holy moly. That was nice to see. I'm sorry I haven't been able to take part, but keep up the awesome work guys! So happy to see RPR come so far!

I'm unsure if this'll help, but I've heard of a clue saying that there's a guardian that's so busy they mostly check RPR from their phone. I'll bet money that it's Kim

UPDATE:

We've cracked four of the seals: Knowledge, Gear, Circuit and Gryphon.

Currently, the one seal we're having the most difficulty unlocking is Broken--none of us have any idea what direction to go in for guesses with this one, so any help would be very much appreciated!

This is the History Portal, so it's very possible that we're looking at a story that actually happened rather than something fictional along the lines of Romeo and Juliet. I've updated the first page with a list of guesses that were unsuccessfully tried.

Make sure to add "Star-crossed Lovers" to that list if you haven't!

I tried that one, probably grasping at straws with that but hey...
