Instead of trying to kill them outright, we could just hit each type of monster and see which ones don't resist certain weapons?

Okay! I'm going to try and hit both wolf riders (normal and fiendish) and report back.
Wolf Rider:
Alecia does 10 damage to Wolf Rider, but it shrugs off 3 damage as if it never happened.
Blue Wolf Rider:
I missed 4 times in a row, then - Alecia does 16 damage to Blue Wolf Rider, but it shrugs off 7 damage as if it never happened.

Awesome! Shall we go and kill a Fiendish Mech-Pilot Goblin, or shall we test the mages for axe resistance as well while we're waiting for more defenders to join us?

Is 3 enough people to bring down the fiendish mech?
It's got 400 HP, we can each realistically hit it less than 10 times in the round... So that's 15 - 30 hits with a battle axe... *goes to look up how much damage axes do*
So the max damage we could do per hit is 16, if both the two dice rolled eights. But let's assume they both roll "average", so 4 per die or 8 per hit.
If we each hit half the time... we'll do 40 damage each in a round.
We need way more people to join us, or a handful more people who roll really well

How did we end up with so many mechs, anyway? I am guessing we were just killing the easier monsters from each wave, and then leaving the mechs, so they piled up over many different waves?

Probably! I'm guessing we weren't able to kill them cause of a lack of weapons and a lack of organized fighting.

Okay so 48 max on a grenade, or up to 144 if it crits. Thooooose could be really helpful for mechs! That's the full expected average damage someone could do to them in a round, in one hit. Or more with a crit!

I really want to, but we probably need a few more people. Loren is volunteering a ray gun to help also, even though some of that damage will get soaked, so there's one more.
