Oh hey.. I'm just noticing that the base Mech Pilot only has 200 HP. That seems much more realistic for a little group to take down. >.>
Sanne Moderator

I'm game for whichever one we'll take down! Which one is it?
Kim Topic Starter Site Admin

I am going to nervously play Doubutt in hopes of getting us all more weapon choice. I'mma do it on Google hangouts if you want to do it with me!

Is 3 enough people to bring down the fiendish mech?

It's got 400 HP, we can each realistically hit it less than 10 times in the round... So that's 15 - 30 hits with a battle axe... *goes to look up how much damage axes do*

So the max damage we could do per hit is 16, if both the two dice rolled eights. But let's assume they both roll "average", so 4 per die or 8 per hit.

If we each hit half the time... we'll do 40 damage each in a round.

We need way more people to join us, or a handful more people who roll really well XD

Best case scenario 3 wouldn't be enough even with crits.

Hey, everyone! I am here to help stat collect and slay. I'm nearly out of weapon uses, though - will use what I have left for testing. So thus far I got:

Blue Goblin Mages, Blue Wolf Riders, and Blue Invaders - aka blue enemies - are weak to Energy Weapons. All three are resistant to Slashing and Piercing - in that order! The rapier is almost useless and they will shrug off most of the damage.

Wolf Riders and Mech-Pilot Goblin - aka green enemies - are the exact opposite and shrug off damage from Energy Weapons and to a lesser degree also Slashing. However, they are devastated by the speed of Piercing.

Fiendish Goblin Mage and Fiendish-Pilot Mech - aka red enemies - are weak to Slashing. They shrug off the bulk of Piercing damage.

I have to recover some HP to continue, but assuming that the remainder of green and red enemies follow suit with this pattern and grenades as an "all" damage type are a glorious wildcard of destruction.

This is fantastic, I was actually compiling the very same information now that I was awake for the day.

I love the rapier for the riders, but its low damage output does prove difficult.

What I'm considering, is starting a thread for a concerted weapon gathering push.
Operation Pineapple Express.
Intentionally losing or restarting the game and only pushing out grenades. Because those are going to be essential for the sake of taking out the big baddies.

This is amazing. I am so happy.

We are playing Doubutt via Google Hangouts right now (the link is in the Doubutt thread). I'll pass your suggestion along!
All users and RP characters raise your hands if you are currently in possession of a battle axe! We need to cut down those fiendish goblin mages ASAP!!! Portal sleuths get your guesses ready as well!

I might have a guess for one of the sci fi seals too, so...
SeraphicStar

You have my axe!
Kim Topic Starter Site Admin

I now have 3 battle axes, and could give some to others who want in!
SeraphicStar

I'll start wrecking fiendish goblin mage face as soon as they reset. Who can help me with it?
I've got 4 axes at the moment (3 and a half, I suppose). I'll happily give away 2 of those (unused, of course). Anyone want?

http://www.rprepository.com/events/epicweek2015/monster.php?m=411 Half down! I'm out!
Nvm wow that got killed fast XD
Oh, and no hurry since I can't properly participate at the moment, but if anyone has spare hats, I'd happily accept for when I'm back in the fray! ^^;
WEAPONS RECEIVED: 8
WEAPONS SENT: 12

Gotta give back later.

I've only got one hat at the moment, and I'm at 1 HP. >.>

However, we're two blue mages from the scifi mage. A few people with ray guns could make short work of them, if the portal crew wants in to scifi.
Sanne Moderator

that goblin wont be bothering anyone again
I sort of wish we had some little donation bank fills could just take what they need from as it's available.

Maybe we could set up a group for that, and grant everyone item access? We couldn't really limit anyhow, I guess, but those going out or getting more stuff than they alive can use could more easily share, at least!
I could use a battle ax.
