Although I designed the monsters and how I wanted each to "feel" and the group size they'd need and etc, I had the actual stat numbers done by a semi-professional game designer. Who I must say, took my notes and NAILED IT with the stats. Pretty much every emotion I wanted people to have was had, and group size requirements were bang on.
When making the boss monster, he sat there muttering things about "Want a two day monster? Mmkay. This is going to wreck shit. People gonna die."
Also accurate.

xD, i'm surprised as well. At least people liked him though ;o
Mighty fists and tender hearts. A powerful combination, indeed.
If it wasnt for the compulsive hat-collecting, things would have been a great deal more difficult. For everybody. I could throw 60 hats into the armory and they were just gone in a flash when it came to clearing waves. But it was all for a good cause. My original goal was to try and stockpile 1k hats, but the clues and dragon changed that real quick. I believe the HIGHEST I was at, at one point, was 800-something in my inventory.
xD even so, you multiply my highest by 10+
Your game designer is a master genius, Kim. Everything about the combat was so perfect, it was incredible!
Dragon was a pretty tough boss.
The game adjusted pretty constantly to what was going on. I'm not sure what would have happened with less hats!
I "died" so many times with that dragon

At one point, I was about ready to just ragequit. xD
but it's okay, he has a nice farm to live on now
He murdered me terribly often, I even broke my cloning machine x.x
When I saw the HP on the dragon I was like "WHHHAAAAAAAAT?"
I think a lot of people had temporary ragequits after enough dragon maulings
I must admit that even I had a bit of a gripe with the dragon, after all was said and done.
I only had fists for most of the dragon fight so you can imagine.
I figured it was going to be fairly tough. I didn't ever rage quit Kim, The dragon crit me to often to even have an opportunity to rage.
I've done boss fights on Neopets before, though. You just get used to dying. After a while it doesn't even sting.
The first night when we got it down to I believe it was 29k, I was just tired of how quickly I was destroying my hat supply. And then that clue came up and completely cleaned me out. But I came back, stronger than ever.
