Also, yeah! I guess I'd be considered an "oldie" and do tend to have a nostalgic love for old items. I'm proud of being an original grombie too.

Out of SHEER CURIOUSITY, I went and checked prices on some things. For essentially $20 I could get almost all of my old items again. How are the old donation items not the king of currency anymore...

Honestly, no idea! I haven't payed attention to the site for long enough to see how their insane economy has changed. I just sit on my buried hoard of pixelated junk and delight in being the timeless lurker. I do know it went through many mass fluctuations in my time there due to all sorts of different reasons - changes to how they made money, events themselves becoming gold sinks, contests and auctions to get old items back in circulation, I couldn't even begin to keep up with infrequently as I ever go back. It seems like those random item generators now dominate the old concept of donation items. Gaians are obsessed with gambling!

Addictive creations with little concern to anyone that might have the least bit of a penchant for such things. It's why so many mobile games make the millions of dollars that they do. 'Oh, I might get something amazing. Oh, not this time, let me keep trying' or 'I can't beat this level, but I can get some help if I only pay a bit'. It all adds up, and really just goes to show how little care some companies have for their business practice. Especially when there is -no- other way to get those items.

On that note, I'm curious what the possibility is of another coordinated strike today. We had a break through for the radioactive seal on the portal thread and might be able to get it.

Probably going to need to wait for more people to wake up. Most of us were up far too late into the night during that brainstorming session.

Yeah I saw that, same on the portal thread. I'm just looking for later today.

I have no doubt that we could clear the portal in 15 minutes after a wave spawns, to give us a good 45 minutes of guesses
