Desmond after watching Caleb dispatch the two demons with ease, is somewhat impressed by his actions. Somewhat, due to him knowing he's some kind of creature due to the strange energy on him, and the fact that he's seen this feat before. He tucks his chain whip back into his sleeve, and looks, almost at ease.
Now faced with a possible interrogation scene, he grabs the demon by the collar and brings him in close. He now looks more serious than before. "Okay scumbag, care to tell me how you know me? I promise if I tell you, I'll release you." Desmond tells the demon.

(Thank you TTuTT and I saw what you did there in the last paragraph xD that was clever)
Caleb smirked and crossed his arms as he watched Desmond, still wondering if the short man was an actual monk. If so, it would be a bit hard to believe it. Well,Caleb supposed that he out of everyone should know that everything isn't as it seems. Though seriously, what monk has a metal whip?!?! The demon coughed slightly as he looked at the monk with fear. "The higher ups!!! Each demon has a certain class and the higher ups are some of the best!! They noticed that there was a shortage of demons in this city so we had to see what was goin' on! That's when we noticed you kill one of us and we've been watchin' you real close for them!!!" He explained quickly, causing Caleb to scoff and roll his eyes. "Makes sense..." He muttered.

((Wait... what? *looks at previous post's last paragraph* Holy shit! I didn't mean to write it like that!
))
Desmond nods, taking in the information. He isn't entirely surprised that higher ranked demons are looking for him ever since he's been killing a few in this city. But then he thinks of the times he never gave his name out to anyone, which came as fairly odd due to how secretive he is in his work. "Alright then demon." He looks at the demon's wound. "That looks like that hurts, perhaps this will help." He takes out a kunai from his jacket, and thrusts it into the demon's head. The demon's body goes limp, and he just lets it drop to the ground.

(It's fine xD I thought you were making a reference to earlier in the roleplay when the demons first came ^-^)
Caleb watched as the demon died and fell on the ground, not soon after all three corpses errupted into a bright flame and then went out as if they were nothing but ashes. Caleb looked at them for a second before looking at Desmond, he had to admit, know he was curious. "Alright, it's getting pretty dangerous out. Let's go ahead inside and you can stay I guess; unless you need someone to walk you home." Caleb teased slightly as he walked back to his apartment, he was also gloating since he 'did' get rid of two kills while Caleb stole his last kill and killed his own. So Caleb was feeling pretty big headed right now. "Besides, what kind of monk are you?" Caleb asked curiously as he pulled out his keys.

Desmond puts his hands in his pocket and follows Caleb. Finally, he gets to talk to him now, yet is a bit annoyed at Caleb's teasing, even though he puts up with something similar on a regular basis. He is right that it is getting more dangerous as the hours pass, but Desmond is more than capable of defending himself, if what just happened wasn't evident enough. Now faced with the question of what kind of monk he is, he takes a second to answer. "I'm a warrior monk. I mostly go on assignments by the Orthodox Church to rid places of demonic activity." Desmond explains to him.
Caleb watched Desmond for a moment before opening the door fully to the monk, letting the man walk into his 'home'. It wasn't too bad, though Caleb wasn't disorganized; he wasn't a clean freak either. He has a few pairs of clothes on the ground, a wrapper or two, and a couple water bottles scatted across his room. What stood out the most was the papers, there were piles here and there, non stop information any types of ways to turn back to a human; whether they were stupid or actually made some kind of sense. He even ripped the pages out of library books when no one was looking, though he always said he would take them back. "Make yourself comfortable." Caleb said as he tossed himself on the bed and rested his hands behind his head in a relaxing position.
Desmond wasn't particularly surprised by the sight of the apartment. However, his attention is caught by the large piles of papers which greatly intrigued him. He walks to one of the piles and takes a sample of the papers and reads its contents. He then places it back on the pile, and slowly eases himself on the couch. Just as before, Caleb's supernatural side is driving him crazy, due to the sense of it which he's feeling constantly when he's around him. Now faced with him still not knowing of what he is, he decides to finally act on these thoughts. "To me it seems as if you're some kind of demon or something along those lines. Am I wrong?" Desmond asks him.
Caleb watched Desmond for a moment as he walked around the room, and Caleb didn't care if he touched one of the papers as long as he put it back. He heard Desmond's question and thought about it for a moment before answering. "Something along those lines...I used to be a demon but I'm not fully one anymore." Caleb said, not really wanting to explain then whole story. It put him in a bad mood and he honestly didn't want to talk about it. Though if he asked Caleb would answer, he didn't know why he would... Probably Caleb trusted him a little? Caleb wasn't sure if this would backfire on him though. "Are you going to try to kill me?" He asked curiously. If the monk went around killing demons then wouldn't he kill him too?
Desmond couldn't help but find that question quite amusing. To him, he must think Caleb thinks he's some stereotypical
demon hunter that doesn't discriminate when it comes to demons. He lets out a small brief chuckle. "Not really." Desmond replies almost jokingly. "If there's one thing I've learned throughout my career is that not all demons are evil. Some are just at the wrong place and at the wrong time. So no, I'm not going to kill you." Desmond fully answers Caleb's question. Even if he was tasked to kill Caleb, he wouldn't do so, due to him seeming to not be aggressive or evil in any way.

Caleb sat up slightly and looked at Desmond for a moment, this was screaming that this would come back to hit him over the head. Caleb was keeping some things away from him, one was probably important while the rest was just things about his past. However he didn't want to do the details. Also, what kind of demon hunter wasn't going around killing demons? This was certainly different from a lot of things you would see on television with the whole "Good vs. Evil" plot. He shook his head before looking to the ceiling, thinking of what to say but he was coming up with a blank. He honestly never heard that before. "You're weird..." He muttered before turning his back to him. "You should probably head to sleep." He said and sighed. "There's some blankets in the closet." Caleb offered, knowing it was late.
Weird? Well, he's been called worse things in the past, so that doesn't bother him that much. But now that they're on the subject of sleeping, Desmond honestly didn't pay that much mind to it. He's conditioned his body to stay up longer, and need less sleep so going to bed this early isn't something he'll likely do. Desmond shakes his head. But suddenly, he realizes that he doesn't know his name, that, or he's simply forgotten. "What's your name again? I don't think I quite got it." Desmond asks Caleb.
Caleb saw the monk shake his head as a response to his question, which simply made Caleb shrug. He couldn't force the man to head to sleep, if he wanted to stay up it was up to him. Though when he asked what his name was Caleb hesitated slightly. He would have used a fake name, but those pitiful demons already said his name like five times. So he decided there was no use to try to lie about it now. Besides, Caleb trusted this man a bit more then others so it might be a good idea. "It's Caleb." He answered truthfully before standing up and grabbing cu ramen. It was the first thing he ate when he became almost human;so it became his favorite food. There was loads of empty cups in the trash to show. "Want some?" Caleb asked casually as he filled it with a water bottle and put his in the microwave.
Him being Thai, understands the savoury taste of Asian cuisine. He hasn't tried ramen before, he mostly stuck with udon, or somen noodles, so he never had the chance to try ramen. Suddenly, thoughts of him trying ramen begin to cloud his mind, he was at best, curious as to how it would taste. Desmond nods and smiles. "Sure, I haven't tried ramen before, so this should be a good opportunity." Desmond tells him.
Caleb nodded and looked at him slightly surprised. "You never tried it? You've been missing out." He said as he heated up two cups of cup ramen. He grabbed out two forks. However each were covered in plastic and had a napkin in it which showed Caleb grabbed them from some kind of restaurant. "Here you go." He said as he sat down back on the bed and began eating his own happily, the usual taste filling his taste buds with the taste of the flavors of artificial chicken. "Tell me Desmond, how could you tell I was a demon of sorts?" He asked curiously.
Desmond took the ramen, and immediately took in a spoonful of its content. It was a bit hot, so he slowly spitted a bit back into the cup, but did so after turning around. He turns back around and gags a little, troubled by the temperature of the ramen. Perhaps next time, he won't be so hasty in eating food immediately extracted from the microwave. Now with the hot ramens no longer an issue (save the slight burning in his mouth) he sits back down on the couch, still holding his cup.
Now asked of how he knew Caleb was a demon, he feels, almost hesitant to tell him. It was for the most part, forbidden in his order to tell others, else they risk espionage from various anti-Christian organisations, and even some government organisations. He has a feeling he's going to regret revealing these secrets, but being someone who abstains from nearly everything, he can't help but to submit to these vices on some occasions. "Well..." He pauses. "I'm a mutant, which means I have various types of psionic abilities. And due to the time I spent in the cloister, I've been refining these abilities, which gave me a 'sixth sense'." Desmond explains to him.

Caleb couldn't help but to smirk at Desmond attempted to eat the ramen immediately even without blowing on it. Caleb couldn't tell know, but he was slowly warming up to the older man by the hour. Though through his explanation, Caleb made sure to pay attention. He was extremely curious about this man, and the powers this man had even though he was a mortal. "I see, so your sixth sense..or..one of your many sixth sense's is being able to telling whether or not someone is a demon?" He asked as he continued to eat. "So, what are the others?" He asked curiously, though he really did think that this man was weird considering he told him these things easily even though he was a demon.
Desmond honestly seems to trust Caleb enough to tell him this. Although, he does have a few mental disorders which prevent him from seeing what's true or not, which can lead to him spilling out too much information.
He blows on his cup of ramen for a bit, before taking in a spoonful into his mouth, this time successfully eating it. "This is pretty nice..." Desmond thinks in his mind, as he tries to snap back into reality. He pauses for a second to savour the taste of the ramen, before coming up with an answer to his question. "I have umbrakinetic, and photokinetic abilities, which I can use for a variety of things, cutting things with my mind, turning invisible, etc." Desmond finally explains to Caleb.

Caleb looked and watched Desmond closely. Caleb sat up and crossed his arms. "You're sure you're a human?" He muttered. "Not some kind of freaking angle?": Caleb asked while looking at the ground. Though Caleb knew he was only a human, a human that had a few more.. 'special abilities' then the rest. Though this made him more interested. Since this was like a question and answer time for him now, he continued on. "So what made you want to become a monk? Did you always have those powers before you became a warrior monk?" He asked, not caring about how most would think it would be rude on how much Caleb asked questions. He was just curious and he wanted the answer now instead of wanting to find out the answer later. He got a bit impatient waiting for the answer, however Caleb would admit he was proud that he saw Desmond eating noodles properly without burning himself.
Desmond on the other hand welcomes the questions. Usually in situations such as this, he appreciates the attention on his abilities and life, despite him not being allowed to reveal them. He takes a spoonful of the ramen and almost immediately swallows it before coming up with an answer to his question. "Like I said: I'm a mutant, a homo superior if that's what you wanna call me. I was basiclaly born with these abilities, but I didn't start noticing them until I hit puberty. The priesthood helped refine these abilities, making me a force to be reckoned with. I mostly joined out of my connection with God, and I always believed that these powers were a gift from him." Desmond explains to Caleb.
Of course Caleb paid close attention to what he was saying, he would admit it; he didn't think there was anyone like this out there that he's actually seen. Or maybe he just wasn't looking close enough to fully get into the fact that there may be humans out there with special abilities. However Caleb couldn't help but to roll his eyes at the 'God' part. "I know for a fact that if you get too close to something that it will only come back to get you." Caleb said while shaking his head, he didn't want to say there was no God, he just didn't want to have any relationship with the Man because of what he's been through, Caleb certainly didn't rust that man anymore.
