Dun dun duuuuun!
So I'm not really superstitious, but nonetheless I do get a kick out of avoiding all the things that can give me bad luck on this day. Just because. Broken mirror? Wasn't me. Black cats? We have two, but they aren't black. Stepping on cracks? ... c'mon, the foundation of my house isn't THAT bad. Oh, and the ladders? They're safely on the walls of our garage, thank you very much!
Anyway, are any of you superstitious? Why or why not? Do you go out of your way to avoid or run headlong into "bad luck"? What are your favorite superstitions?
... as for me, my favorites, I think I'm the "black cat, broken mirror, number 13" sort. I love black cats with their sleekness; I can't imagine ever breaking a mirror (unless my wiimote goes flying out of my hand?); and I am FASCINATED by how we avoid 13 floors, rooms, windows, and what-nots in architecture due to our fear of that number in this country. xD";

Funny thing. This just makes the 14th floor the 13th floor. Just because it's not numbered 13 doesn't mean that there's magically a void space between floors 12 and 14!

I wonder if it's the reason we only get F1-F12 on a keyboard. I WANT A THIRTEENTH FUNCTION KEY GOD DAMNIT.
You don't need that many functions, man! What are you doing, trying to make a super computer capable of mass word destruction every Friday the 13th?

I...no << *hides his secret thirteenth function*
I love you guys
I always have good things happen to me on F.t.13th. Last year, I found 20 dollars on the ground while I was stopped at an intersection.
Got into a relationship once on Friday the, 13th. A COMPLETE ACCIDENT BTW. Went to a party the 12th, but it sorta lasted a bit longer than that
AS AN ANTICLIMAX that same relationship also ended on a friday...the 11th <<
I DEEM 11 THE NEW 13

Did you know that although triskaidekaphobia is the fear of the number 13, friggatriskaidekaphobia is the fear of Friday the 13th?

Perhaps bad luck can be fooled

Technically those are the irrational fears of x thing. Not just the fear. As a phobia is an irrational fear.
I think we're on the brink of debating clinical definitions versus literal definitions. I'm tagging out! xD
Lol. *just likes correctness, usually. *
Did you also know it's Ukrainian New Years Eve.
I'll be celebrating it up at my work for the second New Years!
(I do have to say, the start of my day was very Friday the 13th-y.)
