Zhi showed me this video earlier. I think this teaches us that outward appearances are not a reflection of whom someone is on the inside. This reminded me of the Social Narratives Kim posted about a while ago.

This girl was called mentally retarded to some degree and talked about as if she wasn't even there to witness it. Then she revealed to the world she is a normal child trapped in a body that doesn't do what she tells it to with great intelligence (she can spell and write and read but was never taught to do so!).
That is some pretty powerful stuff. I'd love to read her novel when it comes out.
Wow. Now that is truly remarkable and a heart felt story of this young lady. I, too, look forward to her novel when it launches. It is going to be a splendid read.
