"It's nominal," she answered. She didn't seem to notice that she spoke as if she herself was one of the ghouls. "Unless you go looking for it. Sometimes ghouls entertain smoothskins, and we can't exactly have them dying when we have guests."
Wei stopped as soon as she mentioned the bomb. It was dangerous, sure, but it was a valuable source of radiation. Without it, if the bomb was disabled, would she have a place to relax anymore? Would the Children of Atom have a god?
Chewing on the side of her tongue, she turned to the other two.
"I don't think I'm good enough with explosives to do that. Ronnie?"

"I'm not sure it's a good idea to mess with the Nuke. I mean, yeah it's a problem but, so far it hasn't gone off. And what if the wrong wires cut whilst disabling the bomb?"Ronnie asked.
"But a while ago, a man in the bar offered me money to rig it to blow... If someone wants it to go off, it isn't safe for everyone to live near a live one..." She looked towards the bomb, staring for a second before nodding confidently, walking to it. "I know what to do..."
Shiloh took a deep breath before walking into the pool, already feeling her bones hurting. She opened up the panel of the side, looking at the wires. It took her a good long minute to realize the problem of the bomb and a way to solve it. "I need some pliers or a knife, please!" She hollered, ignoring her ticking pipboy.

She was going to get them all blown up.
Black eyes blank, blinking in an empty manor, Wei watched the girl go. She shook her head, looking to Ronnie. This was what they'd signed on for.
"If she makes a habit of messing with bombs every day, I'm sinking her to the bottom of the Potomac," she huffed.
Then, at the request for a blade, Wei took in a slow breath. She was going to be contributing to this, it seemed. Stepping over, she handed the girl a small switchblade.
"Try not to blow up the whole town."

"And if we don't all get blown up be sure to take some Rad Away after you're done."Ronnie said. "Opening up a nuke'll probably expose you to more radiation than most people encounter in the wastes."He added.
Switchblade in hand, Shiloh switched a few dials before cutting a green and blue wire. The bomb made a low beep sound, signaling everyone that it powered down. She smiled, rubbing the back of her head before turning back. "Would you be shocked if I said I guessed...?"
Wei felt her own skin paling as she watched Shiloh work.
As Shiloh finished, Wei braced herself. She was going to burn alive. At best, she was going to be a real ghoul after this. Then, she froze.
"You...you did it?"

Ronnie let out a sigh of relief. "Oh thank god..."He said. "I think I may need to change my pants again."He joked.
She giggled, offering the switchblade. "I guessed, I swear! Sorry if I scared you..." She stepped out of the pool, turning pale again. "Could I have a Rad Away, please? And someone to teach me how to use it?" She shuffled on her feet slightly, feeling eyes on her.
Wei shook her head, rubbing at her forehead. The girl was crazy. She'd disarmed a bomb by guessing. She shared Ronnie's sentiment, however humorous.
"I don't have any Rad-Away myself," she murmured, "but I've got a couple empty Med-X needles we can use to get the Rad-Away into your system."

"I know one of the local shop keepers, Moira Brown. I can go get you some Rad-away, and some other general supplies."Ronnie said.
"That would be lovely, thank you!" She smiled, sitting down on the ground. Lucas Simms made his way to her, a big smile on his face. "Well I'll be, you did it! Here a few caps for your service, hell, move in! You did this town a mighty good service, girl!" Shiloh blushed accepting the hundred caps and key. "I said you didn't have to pay me..." She whispered, counting the caps. "Call it a bonus, and talk to Moira for some furniture when you have the time and caps." He shook her shoulder, giving her another smile before walking off. "Luck pays off..."
"It definitely does," Wei mused. "Not even a couple of days out of the Vault and you've already got yourself a place to stay."
She knew Moira. Not personally, not like she knew Gob, but she knew her through proxy, of just going through and trading away the useless pieces of dead animals and junk cans that she'd found whenever she needed to gain a few caps, and the occasional vial of Med-X.
Wandering away, she gestured for the pair to follow her, her boots thudding against the metal ramps.

Ronnie headed up the ramps, before the others, as he went to Moira's shop.
She followed eagerly, playing with her pipboy, checking the radio. As they approached the store, she looked up. "Who are in Enclave?"
Snorting, her respirator gave a loud buzz of feedback. Her dark eyes swung back to Shiloh. "A bunch of assholes," she answered simply. "They're a bunch of jerks who think they're part of the Old World government and try and enforce the old law. They think they're 'pure humans.' Let me tell you, Shiloh, you were more pure the moment that your Vault door opened than any of those Enclave hacks ever have been."
It wasn't too long before Ronnie came back out, carrying a bag of canned goods, medicines, and other stuff. "Ok, so. We've got all the supplies we'll need. But there was a catch...."Ronnie said, rubbing the back of his head awkwardly. "Moira gave us the supplies we need for free. But we have to help her write a book."Ronnie said, grinning sheepishly.
She blinked and took a step back from the pure dislike. She had heard of the Old Laws from her history class, and thought it was a good idea until the bombs fell. In this world, however, there was no way the people would follow them. Without fear, of course.
When Ronnie returned, Shiloh smiled at him before tilting her head, blinking. "A book? That sounds easy enough! What do we have to do?"

Letting out a groan, Wei turned incredulous eyes on Ronnie. As a merc, every time she went in to see Moira, the chatty young woman wanted her to do tasks and research for her book. None of it sounded appealing, nor did any of it pay half as nice as the weak caravans passing through who needed a guard.
"Ronnie," she chastised, her voice light despite her minor disappointment. At least some of the tasks were going to be easy, she told herself. "What's she want us to do first?"

"Well, first off, she asked us to head out and try to find food and medicine at the.... eh... 'Super Duper Mart'."Ronnie said. "Ms. Brown marked it on my map, so I can lead us there if you haven't been there, Wei."Ronnie said.
